Thank you! I stopped playing for a year before playing again a few months ago. In the last year I’ve gotten into them heavily and just love everything about their music, what they do and what they stand for.
It shouldn’t be, I didn’t have certain areas louder than others throughout the track, same level throughout. Do you mind replying with time stamps of the spots that have varied volume levels?
I didn’t know the pick scrape was copyrighted 🤔 But please, go on and tell me which riffs were stolen, or are you confusing “stealing” with inspired by?
It’s no worries man, trolls are plentiful. I’m just a minnow in the ocean of RU-vid lol. I really appreciate you for taking the time to leave a comment and more importantly watching the video. Rock on man!
Hi @HapptMinette ! Thank you for commenting and asking. Here’s the link to my main setup using my iRig Pro I/O with Bias FX 2 (professional license): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5r6LfCURzfc.htmlsi=zNvIKaJi9fhSwQlF Here is my backup setup using the same iRig. I go between the two amps shown in the video (this is also free): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ung_wW_t9sA.htmlsi=AOey6Nomiu2e5Kw_ Any more questions please feel free to ask!
@@virus33000believe me, I prefer real too. I would probably still use some sort of distortion like an Ibanez Tube Screamer, or something equivalent. You might be able to get a good result from a boss metal core
Crushed it my dude! That Schecter sure is a beauty as your tone really is spot on for Gojira, who are also a massive influence on our sound. Riffage, tone, video quality, everything is on point bro! If you get a chance or a minute to maybe critique our newest single it’d certainly mean a ton just given the ear you seem to have! Definitely keep up the sick playing and quality videos either way though man as this was super sick! 🤘🏻👏🏻
@@CloudsArePotatoes the pleasure is mine man thank you so much for the kind words on our music! You have no idea what it means to us! You’re a great player yourself so definitely keep it up!
@@CloudsArePotatoes terrible lol i need to buy locking tuners , my guitar didn`t stay much in tune (the g string especially),my fault i should have used another guitar with floyd rose tremolo - i used a guitar with a simple tremolo not like the floyd rose hehe , anyways Thanks for asking ;) your guitar is sooo beautiful - i have a Jackson kelly too which i love very much but bro yours is more beautiful to my eyes. Keep on rocking man and thanks again ;)
@cujo9071 It took me forever to learn this song and I still wasn’t that great at performing it 😂 but it’s super fun to play! I’ve always wanted a green Kelly when they came out with them and finally got one in 2020. Keep at it man!
Thanks man! Tried getting into it in high school a little over 10 years ago but I started falling in love with it 4 months ago. Got my PDGA # last month and confident enough to do local tourney’s
Thanks Correa! Sorry been inactive on YT for a little while. Miss seeing you guys on the live stream! Might end up doing the SWOLA this week. Cheers man!
Hey Alessandro, I’m sorry I’ve been inactive from RU-vid. I use the Vypyr series from Peavey so it has amp modeling. But you should be able to get a good tone from doing low: 8-9 mid: 1-2 and high 4-6. Preamp I use the tube screamer, relatively low on the gain and a little towards the mid on tone. Turning the gain/distortion up on your amp could work as well. I typically have a high pre-gain and a mid post-gain
Hi Richard! Sorry just getting to your comment. Hopefully I’m understanding your question correctly, if not let me know. There’s a few ways I combat it. Some I use a thicker gauge string set. Here lately I’ve been using soft foam padding between the tail piece and bridge, as well as behind the nut on the head stock (I’ve found this to be the most effective). Sometimes, but very rarely it could be too much high end on the amp setting. I have my low turned to about 3 o’clock and my high at 12-1 o’clock and turn down the mids.
Thanks Correa! Very basic program for my amp tone. iRig Pro I/O for the interface and Tonebridge with the 6534 or 6505 with tube screamer, either the 6505 cab or Marshall 800 cab. Then in the mixing I’ll add in the Ferox tape emulator and fine tune the EQ.
I think that was the last time got featured too lmao. I thought about changing my profile name to WallstreetMetal and roll with the theme. Thanks Correa! Hopefully I’ll see you on the livestream Monday if I’m able to get on. Cheers man!
Thanks ehgore! Still working on the tone, it sounds a little messy while I’m playing but I love the tight sound that’s not overloaded with overdrive. Good luck this week!!
Thanks Nathan! Eventually I’m switching out these stock Jackson pickups with the traditional Seymour Duncan TB and JB set. These things are way too fuzzy sounding to me and I can’t dial in the tight tone I like.
Thanks Jason! I tried out a new amp setting for the Kelly, the high end on the stock pickups are too fuzzy for me. Still wasn’t as crunchy as I like. Much appreciated though sir! Good luck this week
