I really really hated that peter thought he had to hide this from her This is peter and mary jane! Shouldn't they have a relationship in which they can confide to each other? I would think mary jane would be very very angry for only one reason.... He hid this! It makes it feel like peter didn't think he could trust mary jane. and it makes it seem like they're marriage isn't so great after all Other than that the series has been great.
Maybe Hickman will build on that. Maybe it was a thing about how Peter wasn’t sure how MJ and everyone else would react. Or maybe it was MJ trusts Peter enough to tell her when he was ready, kind of like Jimmy Olsen from MAWS
Id never read a Constantine comic before but im reading through this at the moment and im loving it so far. DC Rebirth has been great for a newcomer to comics such as myself.
@GraphicPolicy thanks bud! Appreciate your opinion. Might get the physical. Ha, little life story! So I'm 28 now, and about a week ago, I got myself into grapic novels, started reading the walking dead grapic novels, and im reading about 5 or more issues a day. So now it's my new thing, lol. I'm so annoyed with myself. I wish I had started years ago. Please can you recommend a few graphic novels to read. So far, I like anything post-apocalyptic, something f**ked up basically for auldts, great artwork, and maybe cyberpunk vibes (like Blade Runner, etc) If you have the time I really appreciate but thank you for your video!
Looking to the DC universe to explode and I think they will do it bigger, better and more complete. It’s going to link with the cinematic universe - the strategic use of Booster Gold is key.
I really am asking and won't be offended if you think it looks bad. Did a daddy/daughter haircut day at a local place for kids... so not a place that usually cuts hair for adults.
Dude this first issue was fab. Such a totally different take on Batman and Bruce Wayne but still feels true to the soul of the character. It’s Batman mixed with Akira and I freaking love it.
Beautiful adaptation of a haunting tale; to attempt to do the book justice Larcenet spoke to McCarthey and got his blessing. It reminds me of a rated ‘18’ version of another artist (who illustrated a post-apocalyptical story also) called Mick McMahon, who famously adapted much of 2000ad’s sublime Cursed Earth saga, the protagonists also crossing a desolate radioactive wasteland encountering a myriad of hostile characters. Both artists have a scratchy, heavily worked and textured style, however never straying away from telling the story. Recommend both!
I remember reading the Westboro Baptist Church chapter and it broke my heart and boiled my blood. It really shows how the cult not only treats people outside the cult, but the people inside as well. I hope J.T. has realized or someday will realize the truth and find people who actually care about her.
Little late to the punch, it's already flopped and is leaving theaters already. Shame, since it's pretty good. Prolly doesn't bode well for the toyline.
@@GraphicPolicy It didn't have stephen king help write it. The whole thing felt rushed and they had to tidy it up somehow. 2 had the reveal of what the Vampire ancestor was and picking up where the miners and the investigator went missing. Your better off remembering 1 fondly and don't bother with 2. VERY good comic over all, especially if you are into vampires. LIke your channel, can't wait to see more.
@@GraphicPolicy Wait! Have you read any of Ed Brubaker's works? Like Incognito? He is good at writing crime Noir. Incognito is a crime noir that focuses on a Super Villain. Good read if you like villains and crime noir. Anyway, Imma per use through your vids. Catch ya later!
Oh yeah, I go way back on Brubaker. Some of the latest releases aren't as strong but overall, great crime noir. Brubaker is a writer that I almost always enjoy no matter what it is.
