I just found out this song existed after seeing these beautiful signs for sale with the 1st verse. I'd never heard it before, and I love Tom Petty. His songs and his voice make me smile and relax. But The Wailin' Jennies, who I absolutely ADORE, I closed my eyes, inhaled deeply, and felt my soul smile.
It has some musical attraction but is sappy at best. Peace in our hearts comes from one source and only one source: faith in Jesus Christ the Lord. Is that what they are meaning to convey? I suspect not...

For 9 years my dear father was bound by dementia... like the song says, he was like a captured eagle - but an eagle is born to fly... we played this version of the song at his funeral. Everything's gonna be alright, it's gonna be okay.
