Join me on my adventures going to garage & estate sales! I buy anything I think I can resell while still trying to add to my many collections.

That’s why I hardly ever go to estate sales. They over price everything. I’m on Long Island so it’s so bad. I stick to thrift stores and garage sales!!
Don't we do the same thing when we list stuff on eBay. Can't expect estate sale companies to give stuff away same as we can't give stuff away if we want to make money.
haha i m not surprised, i went many times to places like this, and now , i learnd, i have to check the agency that run the sales , so i blacklisted them all. i think they do that in purpose so they keep most of the items to sell them somewhere, or for someone special
As a kid in my elementary school they would buy very expensive rare collector ducks lol 😂 and would pass them out to kids on the honor roll and the rest of us just got normal ducks like in the video but if you collected so many you could trade them in and get a prize (a bigger stuffed duck) or just keep and collect the ducks you collected thru the school years of going there. They also hid ducks in the library and lunch room for kids to find when walking down the halls. 😂
What were the items? What was the sellers price and what are the ROIs for those items? I don’t like to list anything worth under $15 or an item I cant make 50% profit on.
Sorry man, those "made to be collectible"-collectible die cast muscle car and NASCAR cars aren't worth buying. They were overproduced and the people who bought them just end up dumping them back onto the market at yard sales and flea markets. If they can.
Most maybe but I show my sold listings of these cars and I’m already in the profit. You got to scan the barcodes and only buy the ones that are selling.
Awesome video, Mook’s Treasure Trove. I loved the way you showcased those unique finds, especially the sealed train set with popcorn! Do you think there's a growing market for nostalgic collectibles like these, especially among younger audiences? Looking forward to your next upload! Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the support. I think the millennial generation is the biggest collector of the nostalgia stuff right now. I pick up anything I think will sell from the 80s or 90s and eventually I end up keeping half of the stuff myself.
Bro. As a fellow reseller.... these are rhe kind of deals you dont talk down. This video alone is gonna produce 1000 more haters cause you were cheap. Absolutely no need to haggle that deal
If people are mad I saved $7 then they need to get a life. Haggling is the best part of garage sales. Also, I only had $20 left on me at the time. Seller could have said no, they didn’t.
I sold about 300 dvds at my sale this past weekend. 15 bucks for them all. I buy storage lockers and literally every locker has at minimum 1 full tote. I'll pick out some worth 15 and above but other than that they are just junk to me. I can't list even 20 dvds at a time. So boring and to long tail. I don't see how people have entire stores of just dvds. Props to them I guess.
I normally pick & choose and mostly for personal collection, but this deal was too good to pass up. Hopefully one of those box sets gets me all my money back.
@@mookstreasuretrove yeah I don't mind box sets. Or like entire season sets of hit series. I've got a massive collection of vhs in my basement. Waiting for the day they go up in value lol. I've sold all the sealed and all the horror ones. Last I counted roughly 4500 vhs tapes. I got a slight problem I think
Love the VHS collecting. I grab any 80/90 movies and cartoons I find. Trying to finish my pokemon/power rangers and star trek sets of vhs. My best sealed VHS was a copy of Edward Scissorhands I sold for $150!
It's all cool and all that people want to make a buck here and there, but what's up with posting how much you got one over on the people who host the garage sale?
The only “teaching” I like to do is just showing other resellers what sold for me and what to pick up if they see it. It wouldn’t be very entertaining if I didn’t show what profit I made / what an item is worth.
This is what we all dream about. Reminds me of the time I found someone selling a bunch of stuff in a vacant lot in Arkansas and after about 30 minutes of sifting through a bunch of junk dvds cds and blu-rays I found Power Stone 2 complete. Paid a whole dollar
He literally says "40-50% are going to his collection" -- If you collect, you don't just grab random things because they're "worth" something, you grab it because you care about it. Seems like he kept what he cared about and sold what he didn't. That's a normal collector mindset?
Resellers I guess can’t be collectors too. Kept all the Dreamcast games, changed out my beat up Marvel Vs Capcom game to this minty one. I now have a complete Chrono Trigger and Im adding about 20 of these ps1 games to my collection.
