People don’t understand how important it is to see a woman in politics express joy and silliness and laughter and enjoyment of life. Women in power are expected to be cold and calculated to be successful, but she represents everything that women are and everywhere that we CAN go as our full selves. It makes my heart so warm🥹 I ❤️ Kamala
Kamala reminds me of my mom. They don't laugh similarly, but they laugh a lot especially in the public eye. Laughing a lot as a black women in power is a learned survival tactic, to prevent you from seeming aggressive. When framed like that it changes the way you think about her laughter.
She has zero policies still, she is unable to answer hard questions, she has never won a single tough election, she was selected for you. And you just accept it because she is "cheerful and a woman." Wow.
