Thats a lie because the youngest daughter along with the boy died around 1920. The meaning of Fatima was that souls would be converted to the Catholic faith and that there would be unity in the church. That doesn't mean that the orthodox would have to do a Latin mass but only that they would be in Union with Rome.

This is an inspiring presentation. I must point out a couple of details that need clarification: The seers were not three sisters. The principal seer was Lucia Dos Santos, the eldest of the three children, the other two being a boy, Franscisco, and a girl, Jacinta. These two younger were friends not siblings. The eldest of the three, Lucia, would become a nun and spend her life in the religious life. In your observations concerning Catholic expectation of conversion, what you say has truth in it. That is, The vision stated to Sister Lucia that the Orthodox church would be free to be Orthodox Christians without the persecution of the atheist regime of the 20th century. The object, then, of the consecration of Russia was to deliver the Orthodox church from persecution. Catholics have taken this in the wrong sense, I agree. And the fact that the Pope (Patriarch of Rome) was asked to perform it with the bishops might be an opening to Rome's realization that it had departed from the true faith itself in 1054. Perhaps the Lady was trying to convert Rome back to Orthodoxy in asking this. At any rate, 20the century popes disobeyed the terms of this request from her, and every plague that she predicted came absolutely to pass. The aurora borealis, the second world war subsequent wars, the breakdown and decadence and moral collapse in the 1960's (predicted) and assault upon the pope. Rome's interpretation has been wrong I think. I believe it was the Theotokos and that she was seeking to liberate Orthodoxy in Russia to be itself--and bring the The Catholic churches attention back to the other four patriarchates and eventually in repentance returning the Roman church to being a part of Orthodoxy, renouncing the Filioque, etc. As one who has been Catholic then Orthodox I have seen this in Fatima, I do not believe it t o be demonic, and I do not believe it to be promoting Rome--though most Fatimists would disagree with me. That's a fascinating interpretation. I also think of these things in terms of the Kingdom of Heaven and not of any particular church or jurisdiction. Maybe Fatima was a type of intervention from Heaven to reunite Rome with the other Catholic and Apostolic Churches aka the Orthodox Church. Rome would consecrate Russia and free it from communist atheist militants while at the same time bringing it closer with Russia and the original orthodox faith and churches. Anyways Rome ignored the Theotokos timeline and requests and even kept parts of it a secret( hence the third secret of Fatima). I believe Rome was heavily punished for this failure, hence the Vatican 2 council a few decades after Fatima and the creation of the Novus Ordo rite which essentially made the Roman Catholic sacraments invalid(without the grace of the Holy Spirit) and hence all the sacrileges and heresies and the subsequent mass apostasy of the western world as its consequence since the 1960´s. Rome finally did consecrate Russia in the 1990s(way outside the Theotokos timeline though) and the communist regimes miraculously did collapse within a few months of the consecration of Russia. But it was already to late for Rome as they continue to fall into complete heresy, while Russia started to experience the complete opposite, a boom in revival of faith, morals and Catholic Apostolic Church tradition in society and in the state. Italy(and the west) and Russia(and the east) today in 2023 are in fact the complete opposite I would say in this regard. One is showing the secularization and decay of society, churches are falling in ruin and being abandoned and in the other churches are being built and society is getting more christian in every possible aspect. Fatima in the end to me, shows the triumph of Orthodoxy and the chastisement of Rome. I am also an Roman Catholic who left that local particular church and joined the Church of Constantinople, the New Rome.
