@@superwag634 that’s a good question. To be honest I didn’t run my tank all the way down. But I didn’t have any worry about completing the trail on one tank.
Got mine on AliExpress however i couldn't for the life of me remove the original caps once loosened. The nut underneath just lets me spin the cap infinitely and it never loosens and comes off
Ayeeee clean footage man, also is the trail mostly dirt? I’m going here but I have skinny tires so it might not be that easy, if anything I’ll just glide over the sand, but I’ll also have new rider.
@@ValleyFireBuffThis riding area has plenty of trail options some are also connected to a main paved road. There are also practice areas. Unfortunately it's closed due to a fire that burned in the area
@@bradleytaylor5077 I found them on minimotomayhem but I also believe they are more OEM retailers you can find online. And yes these are compatible with the SS and CL 🤘. Thanks for the question!
I didn’t think it was possible to find the exact video for the exact use of this bike that I’m interested in, but here we are!! So glad to see that this bike can handle Maple Truck trail!
@@davysmith8569 not only that but at least where Im from, half the drivers here cant even stay in their own lane without drifting over the lines because they aren't paying attention... so no thanks... lane splitting is illegal here and i feel like it probably should be everywhere, 2 wheels can be dangerous enough as it is without taking that risk...
That’s because if you stay in the back, some idiot on their phone or something can smash into you. If you legally (traveling no more that 10 miles of traffic) lane split, you’d be fine. Some other idiots gets butthurt or jealous that their stuck in traffic and tries to block you or open their door… like most things, ppl will abuse it.
Dont park on the walkways in between cars. Is a douche move. That walkway is there for people to avoid the carpark traffic and there might be mothers with prams or disabled people that need to use that pathway.
Good job on helping the guy on the YZ with his confidence and short to the point instruction. What program/app is it that puts the trail on the screen? Thanks in adnvance.
I'm using an Insta360 X3 camera and their motorcycle mount kit. I clamped my camera to my handlebar. The GPS data was recorded using Insta360 GPS remote paired to the X3 camera. Hope that answers your question
@@markjar The reason I ask is because sometimes it looks like the camera is in different positions at different times. I use a gopro, it is just fixed in one spot. But your option is pretty cool. I am looking at getting into DS riding sometime soon, I am usually just a track guy these days. But my wife and I go to HV when we trail ride. She is very much a beginner, but I showed her your vids, and I think she could do those trails. Thanks for the reply.
To get the surface clean before applying tape I use clay bar. Much safer than a sharp blade and does a better job of removing road film and tar. After the clay bar I use brake cleaner to be sure it’s super clean.
He was cutting away rubber glue from wheel weights. Clay bar won't touch it but razor blade is Oh hell no! Tongue depressor or plastic scraper. After you scrape, you still need to use Alcohol anyway. Even if you use clay bar. You must remove ALL oils. Use 90% rubbing alcohol.
Great book. The art is awesom from the artists but the stickers suck for bombing. The front cover of the book is how you want it but the stickers all have white borders. Not a good sticker bomb style. Make sense?
It should be, just make sure to apply a good amount of the clear coat. Btw if you fall the last thing you should worry about is some cheap stickers, if it's that bad you can rip them off and apply new ones!
