Excuse the swearing - the driver was a total banker and deliberately drive as close as possible in the slush to cover me with it ! - Just shows some drivers mentality towards cyclists - If I hadn't turned off when I did I would have been off - Road Traffic Accident or more like Attempted Murder !
Sorel to Greve De Lecq is good, most of the paths are a good 10' in from the cliff edge. There are also some good inland paths at Corbiere, you'd have gone right past them.
hi i just bought this bike as an impulse buy, dont know much about it, i know its an endurance minded bike, is it still fast, will i hit 30mph easily? i want to beat my old record of 42mph, will this bike do it
It depends on how fit you are and the gradient - I went way past 30 down box hill on another run and if you watch my Fleet Moss video or my road bike video you can see it's easily possible - head for Hawes in the Yorkshire Dales and take a MTB too - Its the ultimate UK bike adventure playground - Have fun - Graham
hi, this is my kind of cycling. im looking to buy a new bike, either a boardman mx hybrid or a sirrus. how does the sirrus cope with uneven surfaces? the boardman has suspension forks, I don't know if I would really need them or not? could you do a revew on your sirrus? thanx mark
+peavey41 Hi - Yes at some point But its the older model - You can get the sport Sirrus model for £350 at the moment - it has V-Brakes ( easy to maintain and less to go wrong and no brake bleeding !), 27 gears which are shimano and good quality, also there is no suspension to go wrong either - this can be accounted for by standing over bumps and changing the tyres to 32 mm Armadillo puncture resistant (proof??) - Its a fast commuter bike with bomb proof construction - those 28mm short travel forks are weak and not on par with a mountain bike - you would be better with a 29er rockhopper with thinner tyres but obviously they cost more money - for this type of riding I would stick to a sirrus(with a lifetime frame guarantee unlike a boardman with its bad components too !)

+peavey41 Thanks for the comment - Its a basic model BUT the sport is available for £350 at the moment -go for that one and yes I recommend one but with a rack and mudguards too for long distance rides with a cargo net on the back to hold things such as locks and energy bars/bottles etc. - Graham
