So the electric drive motor is actually above the thruster, inside the ship? And the thruster itself is more of a "differential", similar to a differential in a rear wheel drive car. This now begs the question about the rear azipods... are they also a differential, or do they contain the electric motor?
They copied the entire design of well known market leader “Thordon” .The water lubricated bearings by Thordon are much better and offer lifetime reduction in wear .
i think its not possible , because once you open the seals , stern tube oil comes out easily, i been working on ships propeller repair for 25 years now and i cant figure out how they can do it, and big ship like that have alot amount of oil
