I was just looking at one, but the S&H to me, NY is close to $600 bucket, lathe on special is about $2500. I love this lathe, the 2HP 230V is a winer for me.
I’ve never heard a complaint about any of the Coronet lathes. They seem to be excellent lathes. As for the tool rest, you can order a Robust tool rest that has a bar of hardened tool steel along the top edge. I’ve used one for years. Only thing I’ve had to do to it is clean the CA off of it a few times. Good review.
Thank you Barry, this was a great review. I am looking to upgrade my current lathe and this review is a great help. Are you still enjoying the lathe after one year of use? Happy Holidays!!!
hello friends greetings healthy and successful always. thank you for sharing knowledge and always faithfully watching your latest things always the best creations are good👏👏
Brilliant! I have the original Coronet Herald, which I have been more than happy with, untill seeing the latest upgrades with such fantastic improvements, do I sound a little envious? well I should! great demo Barry, my lathe is somewhat very much lighter and your point of a gradual speed increase is a real built in safety feature, time to stop the lathe dancing when it max out😅thanks for presenting, regards, Tony (UK)
That's the way to turn wood, very nice work good job 👌👍 Thanks 🙏

Hello my new friend, Different and beautiful design. Using different trees gives a different atmosphere. I'm curious about the finale. you are doing a good job. Congratulations. I browsed your channel. I've already seen you make such beautiful things out of wood and similar to mine, it's nice to find people who do the same thing and have the same passion. I bought a new lathe. You will see that I have started using it soon. I'm happy to be on your channel. Notifications will always be on for you. I want to see you on my channel too. Stay healthy and happy. Big greetings. All the best.
Love that you are using home made paste and OB shine juice. It seems that everyone is using either Akks or Yorkshire grit which is expensive, and as far as I can tell is not better. I made a big tub of paste a couple of years ago and I still have 1/2 of it left. I'm subscribed and look forward to your other pieces. Jim, Montana Wood Art, Bozeman MT
Absolute rubbish as an instructional video . Camera position wrong, so views of any techniques are totally obscured. Yet another American “ Look at me, how quick I can turn, aren’t I great “ video. Waste of my time
You have got to have balls of steel. I have not seen anybody else move the centers like that before. I was expecting to tree go flying long before it did. Thanks for sharing and how daring you are.
