The outro music is one of the Steam Gardens tracks from Super Mario Odyssey, if you were wondering Slime Rancher's story makes me so sad for such a cheery game, there's just so many elements that strum your heartstrings like a guitar (that's a reference) I need to play this lovely game again, thank you for inspiring me to 100% it
I know this is super late (2 years) but I just started playing raft and I can tell you 100 times over this is not "something you can build in the first hour" I am on hour 3 and don't even have 1/4th of the needed material. This is something you can build in an hour if you are a super-pro.
TL;DR slime rancher 2's map is the result of the time portal making a nuclear explosion My theory about Slime Rancher 2 is that the accident on Rainbow Island was nuclear in nature, had something to do with the time portal, and could (this is a stretch) also be referencing HP Lovecraft's The Colour Out of Space. In The Colour Out of Space, a meteor crash-lands in a small town, and it radiates mysterious colours that haven't been seen before. The residents of the town then begin describing ailments that line up almost perfectly with radiation poisoning, and they begin radiating the same colours of the meteor. The rainbow vegetation on Rainbow Island could be alluding to the "mysterious colours never seen before," and it could also be a result of something radioactive hitting the area, as radiation tends to mutate the flora and fauna around it. The nuclear theory also lines up with the locations of Ember Valley and Powderfall Bluffs. If something that big and powerful landed on a volcano, it would obviously cause the area to become unstable and active. Meanwhile with Powderfall Bluffs, something with the destructive power of a nuke would likely thrust any nearby areas into a nuclear winter. Aside from that, Powderfall Bluffs is the only place that you can find pure saber slimes in either game, which had been thought to be extinct. Remember when I mentioned radiation could affect flora *and* fauna? Well the radiation in the area could've affected the sabre largoes, altering their DNA and causing them to produce pure sabres. However, I think the strongest evidence for this theory is that there are only three slimes from the first game that don't appear in SR2: the mosaic slime, the *quantum slime,* and the *rad slime.* Now the lack of the mosaic slime feels kind of odd to me since the entire island is rainbow-themed and the mosaic slime is a rainbow slime. It's especially odd since they added the other two Glass Desert slimes in the weather update, so why not mosaic? Well it could either be that they're adding harsh sun as a weather pattern OR it could be that the mosaic slime has something to do with the labyrinth. Now, with the other two, it feels even stranger that they weren't included, since the quantum slime would line up well with the plot of SR2, and the rad slime is a fan favourite. Well my theory about them is that whatever's in that terraced area behind the boom gordo in Ember Valley will be the door to the time portal's impact area, and when you enter it, you'll find an irradiated area full of rad and quantum slimes. This area will also likely be the most unstable, and have radiation storms similar to the firestorms of the Glass Desert, and at the end of it, you'll see the final message from the author of the research drones and two doors, almost like a twisted mirror of Hobson's final message, where the author warns you not to pick the same door they did. Anyways I'm probably wrong and thinking way too hard into this, but whatever. It's my slime rancher theory fic thing, and I get to choose what I piece together!
I am so sick and tired of this game putting items that do absolutely nothing to help you and are completely not explained what were the developers thinking
in the older versions there was a bug, ehen u were climbing on a ladder and than go to sleep, the game bugged and u could fly, btw no monsters attacked u
Hey Ali, im not sure if youre gone from youtube, you havent posted in moths, but im gonna ask anyway are you planning on making another video filling in the theories of your slime ranchers 2 video? Id love to know what the real full truth is
To anyone that says this doesn't work, you need to pay attention to the date and time stamp. I thought it would appear on the top of the backups list, it doesn't. You need to scroll down to the time that closely matches your load game, if you have two with the same time stamp choose the one below it.
Have it since about a week after you could buy it, but haven’t played it for almost 2 years due to performance issues on my pc for some reason. Now it works perfect with highest graphics and still 50-80 fps. Have about 40 hours in since the launch already and am not planning on stopping until I finish the game. However, I’m not a fast player in any game with progression or any game for that matter so I just started on fuel after 40 hours and won’t be done for the next 300-800 hours ingame
(spoilers) Me and my brothers call the shark Gobber, because Bruce gets killed, so GOB in Gobber, stands for "Ghost of Bruce" and each time we kill him, we add another Go, for example, GoGobber (Ghost of Ghost of Bruce) but we usually just call him Gobber, the ones with the extra Go is just our custom lore official name
Im kinda glad i suck so much at the game, I know that I will not, get that many animals, cause my pc is kinda crappy, so I sit on 15 fps, which is, surprisingly, very smooth
Hey good tip to knowing where the original 4 tiles are, u could put ur sail on the middle in the start of the play through, that way u can reletavly guess what is the middle of ur raft always and plus it makes soul at peace knowing it's on the middle
A good comeback mechanic would be a thing similar to the "angel block" in Minecraft, which can be placed anywhere in the world. If your raft is fully destroyed, give the player a "new raft" option to place in water
Most valuable tipp from my side is: Use the cooking pot as soon as possible. putting for vegetables in the pot for a soupe is absolutely game changing, since it gives you much more food and an extra bonus for eating a dish
