@@Marti-dw9xt I think you’ll find this is a byway open to all traffic and not a bridle way. There are around 25000 miles of bridle ways in the uk which don’t have vehicular rights, and only about 3500 of byways where vehicles can drive. I’m sure you could find a few so you’d avoid any vehicle contact.
@@Marti-dw9xt many of us pay membership to the Green Lane Association and other organisations which all contribute funds to local councils to assist with repairs and maintenance. Much of this work does not get recognition. GLASS members join volunteer days to clear lanes and keep them in good condition for all users. Many members also walk, cycle and ride these lanes and regularly update the GLASS/Trailwise website with any issues they encounter and through a tried and tested reporting system liaise with local councils to repair and maintain the trails. So before you jump in the anti-4x4 bandwagon, there’s clearly a lot that goes on that many other users are not aware of!
@@4x4Wales that's great ,so it's the green lane Association that repairs them is it ? When was the last time you were there with a shovel and a wheelbarrow ?
@@Marti-dw9xt really! Do some research about the Green Lane Association and their work: I’m out on the lanes frequently and put a lot of time and effort in to keeping them clear for all users. Have a nice evening
Got there a few days after you and there was a border guard in Andorra barring the way up Pic Negre. Might be a July + August thing but definitely not open at the moment. Nice video and I'm quite jealous as we drove 600 miles to do this thing.
@@nrobertson33 it’s now closed to all foreign vehicles for the foreseeable future. I tried to go up again on 15/7. We were very lucky the first time as they’d made the order on 20/6, but didn’t enforce it until 26/6! We paid our fee and went up.
@@4x4Wales Gutted. We were on a dad and lad adventure so not to be outdone we got the fell running kit on and ran the last bit from 2200m to 2600m. Bit puffed out but got to the to the Pic at least 😄Keep up the good work and all the best.
@@BearAirsoft13 defenders? I like both but the 90 is better for offriading, can't beat a land rover. Also I'm on about the old defenders not new ones, new ones are still nice tho, tye ineos Grenadier is a different car based on land rover
It’s running Cooper Discoverer AT3. It’s had an Arctic Trucks ATU conversion and can take a bigger 265/70 17 tyre, but these won’t fit your 21 plate! Have a chat with Milner Off Road as they have good knowledge on what will fit yours.
