Thank you for doing this I just bought this set an Amazon and it was returned set so I got it at a good price I didn’t know why they returned it. It could be because of the large handles but those keep our hands from getting burned so I am willing to put up with the wooden handles and lead tops if I don’t get burned for sure

I carry wipes too and soap sheets to wash my hands! My friends thought I was crazy. I've been in too many bathrooms where there was no tissue or soap. So nasty 🤢
Enjoyed the vid! You can also get some of those plastic vacuum compression bags to put your clothes in. You put your clothes in the bag then suck out all the air with a vacuum cleaner hose (some your can just roll the air out) I have some and I have a little mini air pump to suck the air out. They save a TON of space

As a former optician, now retired, watching your video reminds me of my working days and all the kids and teens that I did pre-eye exams on as well as helping them choose the frame for their glasses and then fitting them with their new glasses. Many like your daughter were getting their first glasses. In my early days teen girls hated getting glasses for the first time and a number of them were in tears because to them having to wear glasses was the kiss of death because the cute boys would never ask a girl wearing glasses for a date. But thankfully that has really changed, Glasses are much cuter now and they have become very popular as an almost must have as a fashion accessory. So much so that our doctor was finding them claiming they couldn't see the eyechart so they would be prescribed glasses. Were not sure how many may have succeeded in getting glasses the didn't need. So your daughter seems just fine about getting her first glasses and i hope she continued feeling that way once she got them. Since you wear glasses yourself you will be a big help to her getting used to wearing them. Even though she seems fine bout getting them wearing them for the first time is going to feel weird and strange at first. until she gets comfortable wearing them. even with what i would assume to be a rather weak prescription it will still take her eyes a few days for her eyes to fully adjust to the prescription of her glasses. Then she's going to notice things being more blurry when she takes them off. I looked for the part two you said you were going to make when she got her glasses but i never saw one. I assume you forgot? Anyway I saw in more recent videos that she was wearing glasses so she apparently wears her glasses fulltime. I don't know if she was told she needs to wear them fulltime or not but there's really no harm in her wearing them fulltime. Actually wearing then fulltime is better because she's less likely to looses them or get them broke. Something you maybe or may not be aware of is that being only 9 and still in her growth years her eyesight is going to change from year to year and she is likely going to be needing her glasses changed every year to 18 months. It has nothing to do with how much she wears or doesn't wear her glasses. It's going to happen no matter what due to her growing. So that will continue to happen until she's in her early twenties when her eyesight will become stable and stop changing. Since you both wear glasses now and I'm sure I don't have to tel you how expensive they are even with insurance. something you may want to consider is ordering your glasses and your daughters glasses on-line. I first became aware of the on-line glasses sites thanks to the young ladies we had working in our optical store. Not surprising that most of them wore glasses and even though they were provided glasses whether they needed them or not every 6 months as a pat of their benefit package. But they had found out about the glasses sites and hey were often ordering glasses and prescription sunglasses on=line. I had the advantage of seeing their glasses and was very impressed with how nice their glasses looked, the quality of their glasses, i even checked the prescription of their glasses and found they were in the exact prescription the girls need and the extremely low price of their glasses. These are some sites i liked best Lensmart, Payne Glasses and Zenni Optical. They have glasses that include whatever prescription needed for as little as $7.00. Kids glasses are slightly more because anyone under 18 polycarbonate lenses are required for safety reasons of course. Hi Jim, Thanks for your review! No wonder they were in tears. They know that first minus lens, creates more myopia. No one gets better, for that reason. Scientific proves it.
