Hey everyone! My name is Madi and I am currently working full time as a school nurse and PRN as a labor and delivery nurse. I am also currently enrolled in an RN to BSN bridge program. On my channel I will be posting college related videos, nursing videos, beauty videos, lifestyle videos, and vlogs. Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoy my videos!
I know this is probably the last thing you want to here but coming from present me it gets better I promise you 💕 there is a light at the end of the tunnel even if you can’t see it right now, I am praying for you and I am sending you so much love
@@madisnursingjourney Today my presentation work could not be exported to my teachers page due to error.I worked hard on it.I had been in class the whole week I just asked to go to the bathroom and I broke down crying. My peers somehow noticed when I got back and asked if I was ok.I am not my doctor refuses to diagnose me with major depression I cut him off today.I don't want to go to classes anymore I don't have the energy that others do mentally and physically I tried throwing myself out of the car in the highway as an attempted suicide but again. it failed.just some months ago I was happy I really don't know what to do I have great friends but still want to die
As an RN for over 35 years, you have to do what is best for you. Don't feel that you have disappointed anyone. You have to take care of yourself and be true to yourself. You owe no one an explanation. The hospital settings will never change.
Im considering being a nurse but I struggle with bad anxiety too. Can’t eat, hardly sleep. So I doubt if I can even be a nurse myself. I needed to watch this video.
I'm proud of you. I don't work with that species of nursing but I work with animals and it can be so sad. I quit my job multiple times when the mental and emotional and physical well-being was just not healthy at all. Then I took at least a year off and went back. I am looking at your videos because I'm thinking of making the switch and that would mean I may not be able to do the veterinary nursing and human nursing at the same time. Im crying with you 😢 because all the what if I can't handle when my patients speak back to me.
Madi ❤ I started nursing school and it just makes me appreciate you even more. You exude compassion and intelligence, I look up to you as the ideal model for what I want to be. I’ve come across some cliquey attitudes with a couple peers so far and an instructor who rules with an iron fist. Thank you for being such a comfort and inspiration! It shows you don’t have to be pushy to gain respect and at the end of the day, I would want a nurse like you to take care of me or my loved ones.
Omg I wanna hug you so bad 😞 this is the first video I’ve ever seen and when you started to cry it made me start to tear up. You are so sweet and CAPABLE and nursing is LUCKY TO HAVE YOU!!!
Just watched your video, Maddie. 😢. Hope you are doing better and have found a job that gives u a Better work - life balance. Your mental heath and well being is most important so can flourish and be successful. Keep going. 🙏🙏🥰🥰
Love your videos Madi. It's my first year of college for Healthcare administration. Can you please make a video what made u get your first year of college successful.
Hello! I know that you posted this a while ago. But I just started my second semester of nursing school. I was able to use your method about half way through the first semester and truly loved it. I found myself spiraling on how I want to study this semester. I just told myself to keep doing what I did last semester and I don't know why but I wasn't listening to myself. Anyway, when I decided to rewatch this video my nerves completely faded and just reminded me how helpful this method is. Thank you so much for sharing this video and all your lovely advice!! You are by far one of my favorite youtubers and I just love watching your journey. Thank you!!
Did you say you're at Ohio University in the RN-BSN program? I have my ADN and am looking for a time efficient and cost effective RN-BSN program, online. Is it fully online?
When you were accepted into the nursing program for ASN, did the pre-req anatomy classes actually matter once you were put into the nursing program? How vital is it to do well in anatomy? I feel like we learn so much stuff that we don't actually need to know for on the job.
I know you are asking her but I will say that I’m in my last semester of nursing school and I find that understanding anatomy and physiology has really helped me with understanding disease processes in nursing classes like Med Surg, OB, and Peds!
@@isabellegreen3300 like sacromere actin myosin that sort of thing, how muscles work, cells and nucleus, at what point do those fine details actually magfer
I honestly just needed someone to tell me who has been through and experienced it. I’m in anatomy 102 now and applying for the nursing program in October.
