Hello everyone! Welcome to my channel. I'm Amanda, a southern cali girl who loves her family and keeping a clean, minimal and organized home. I'm a working mom with an 8-5 gig who gets home and has to juggle with relaxing after a long day or tidying my home and don't always have the motivation to do so. I've been with my best friend for 14 years and love & appreciate him so much for putting up with my craziness! If you like cleaning and organizational videos I hope you subscribe to my channel. As much as I try, I don't always have a clean home and sometimes don't clean for a few days, and that's ok. I hope to provide you with some cleaning motivation and organization ideas. Let's get this done together!
Something 'Homesteading' channels get right... when you do a _COLLAB_ DON'T LINK to the person's channel, link to the collaborative video. If I want to go to their channel after viewing it, I will DECIDE to do that myself, be Blessed.
Hi Amanda!!! It's really awesome to see a new video from you!!! 😊 so glad you've joined the reset this month. I feel like I just did this even though realistically it has been maybe over a month but I feel the fridge gets messy so quick with kids! 😅
And yes, sometimes resets are not the whole house! I feel like my video wasn't even necessarily a reset!! 😂 I mean it was more a Sunday routine I think. Everyone's Sunday looks different. Even week to week.
Hi Ashley! Thank you snd me too! I know, geez life has really been kicking my butt these past few months but I feel like it’s finally winding down and I just gotta get my rhythm back but thank you! And I feel the same, gotta appreciate all the hard work we do on something because we know it’s only gonna last a few minutes lol
Hey Amanda!! Omg this was so motivating to watch! I need to clean my fridge out too. I also feel like my produce has been going bad quicker. Let me know if you figure out a way to get them to last longer. I’ve heard putting them in mason jars helps. 🤗 TFS girl and have a wonderful Sunday!💜
Thank you Clarissa! Yeah it had been waaaay to long so my fridge needed a little tlc ☺️ I’ve heard on the mason jars as well and I also heard of rinsing them and putting them in tupperware with a paper towel to absorb the excess moisture so maybe it’s time for a veggie experiment lol
I keep a new one in my sink for cups with grooves but on anything that’s gross I just use my old once’s since I can be rough with it on dirty things and tough areas since I’m just gonna toss it out ☺️
@@amandasiravo1 I’m so glad I found her too and she introduced me to the group. I love it there!!! She’s such a great person!🩷 I cannot wait to collab with you too…🤗
Yeah it’s gotten worse so gonna try to soak it maybe even overnight and give it another try with some new cleaners I got. Definitely don’t clean this as often as I should!
@@amandasiravo1 We don't either & we use ours a LOT so we don't have to get the big oven going in hot Arizona. I'd love to hear if you find what works. I definitely need to tackle mine soon. I just bought a steam cleaner, so I may try hitting mine with that to loosen some gunk up.
Thank you for this! I went to buy the power paste bc I've heard good reviews, but tried to use the pink stuff instead since I already had some. Took a LOT of elbow grease (on my oven door) so I found myself wondering if I should have waited til I got the power paste. So your video was very helpful. I'm content with not buying another product, looks like both would have taken about the same amount of work.
To clean your tray that is so badly baked on use easy of oven cleaner (the non fume kind) and cover with plastic wrap and leave at least 2 hours covered, same with your baking pan. Do not use a razor blade. When I go to a hotel I keep my room key and I use them to scrape things like baking sheets.
Too chatty and too worried about what your audience thinks about a small amount of dishes in your sink. Video is too long. Also, I would have used a regular sponge with a scrubber on top for the pink stuff. Other than these things, it is a good video.
Hi, thank you for the comment. Yes still trying to find a happy middle of too long, too short, too talkative or not enough ☺️ I appreciate the feedback.
Why are we explaining the textures for 10 minutes like we get it just clean already this video is a half hour video for what it should of been 10 minutes brooooooooo😑😑😑😑
Hey Amanda 👋 New friend here from the collab ❤ Great video. I've seen that scrub daddy paste before but never tried it. Looks like something that would be great to have on hand. I know i panic sometimes when things get spilled on my counter tops and im like oh I better have something that takes that out 😂 i have not seen the Dawn degreaser. Thats a good one. Thanks for sharing and great to be in a collab with you. Hope you have a blessed week
Hi!! So great doing this with everyone also. I love meeting new friends through collab! Yes the power paste is a great counter stain remover and for our area I can only find the dawn degreaser at Lowe’s. If you try them I hope you love them as much as I do. Hope you have a wonderful and blessed week as well 💜
Hey Amanda! So happy to have you in this collab 😊❤ Oh wow I never thought about actually trying scrubbing bubbles in the bath tub, seriously need to remember to try that. We just got a scrub daddy recently for the kitchen dishes. My husband told me about how it was on shark tank and I had no idea. Oh I love that tiny scrub thingy you got at Target. Oh my gosh that paste wow! And yes need that degreaser, I’ve been wondering how in the world to clean our grates on the stove.
Yes scrubbing bubbles is amazing on my tub! And the degreaser on the grates works wonders! Spray them down with it. Fill the sink with hot water done dawn and a dish pod or two and let them soak. That’s the only way I clean mine now! Thanks again to you too for hosting and allowing all of us to join. So fun seeing everyone favorites!
Love everything you've listed so far! Scrubbing bubbles are amazing for stuck on dirt like kiddie pools etc that have been put away for the winter. I learned that from a friend and they just work so well. I agree, dawn is the only dish soap worth buying. I keep trying others and they just don't work the same. The others feel so watered down and you end up using way more.
Hi Ashley, thank you and thanks for watching! Yes I have really been slacking on videos lately. Work has just been so much but finally calming down now and able to carve out so time and get back into it! I love scrubbing bubbles so much too. Just wish it didn’t smell as strong but nothing else works for my tub the way it does. It’s not snowing here lol but all this rain makes for a really chilly day! Raining here today too so perfect day to watch everyone’s video 🥰
I live in the uk and we have a lot of hard water. I use pink stuff and swear by the stuff. Take no notice of the not to be used on things that you use for food. I clean my pans, my sink, my utensils. I clean my refrigerator and oven with it and have never had any issues with my health as a result of this 😊
Also, pink stuff is amazing for brightening up stainless items. It doesn’t just remove dirt. It lifts any tarnish and brings it up like new. If you’re using a scrubdaddy you need to soften it with warm water too. Once the water cools and scrubdaddy hardens up it doesn’t do as good a job
I know right , it was really getting on my nerves , i just wanted to see what the freaking products do !! Not hearing a long ass lecture , less talking , more doing *sigh*
Hey Amanda! New friend here watching. I know those days of lacking motivation. I have to literally turn my brain off and just start moving, because the more I think the less I will want to do. You did a great job! Thanks for sharing 💕!!
Hi!!! Thank you so much and yes, definitely need to shut off mentally like you mentioned. If I even start thinking about the stuff I would like to get done before the night is over sometimes I won’t even start either cause I’m too tired already lol. I really have found the best way sometimes especially on those long work days for me is set a timer so I know my evening isn’t gonna be just consumed by cleaning! Thank you again so much!?🥰
Same here, I was so happy and a little proud of myself that I got even a little bit done and it wasn’t even all of it but I just felt so good knowing that I could have easily relaxed if I wanted to but chose to just clean a little bit.
