From an outsiders perspective- the MX-S appears to outperform the Extra 330sc by every measurable metric. If this is the case, why are so few being flown at the WAC? Does the French team have something against them?
2023 pricing is $535,000 for an MX-S aircraft configured like mine with all the bells and whistles. The MX-2 is a little more. You can call Southeast Aero and ask for my contact info and I'll talk you through the details. If you are comparing prices, make sure you are comparing apples to apples. Other companies give you a "base" aircraft price but the cost will be a lot higher than that. www.southeastaero.com/
@@JamesBourke And, there are NOTAMS published when the "box" is active. Not only that, if you're talking to ATC on your way to the airport, they will often remind you that there's a NOTAM for aerobatic activity active.
Very sweet A/C! Nice video as well! I can definitely see the quality of the A/C just from your video! Couple Novice Questions for you .. what is your target air speed before landing on final approach? Is side slipping standard procedure on most landings? Im just curious.. Thanks! Have fun!
I usually approach at about 100 knots, but sometimes at 80. Stall speed is 58 knots so it's not that challenging to land. Just a normal taildragger with a big engine, but really well behaved. I do slip on most approaches because it makes it easier to see the touchdown point. Thanks for asking, cuz,
Nice! I've been trying to reach this level of stabilization using Davinci Resolve, which can work great but often with mixed results. I will try your software! 👍🏼
