Marysville Steel is on the market ($1.6M?) so I suppose the trucking company is looking to put the empty lot into some speculative development plan ..?.. I like that you dont use credit the bankers and lawyers are so pushy zero ethics its bad in town it follows route 33 to Dublin all the time ..!
It does really well, as long as you're not in super hard ground like hard pan. The cutter blades can be filed if/when they eventually get some wear. Of course the entire front nose assembly is replaceable. Hope this helps!
Hopefully no one has to use this 911 service, this guy was a total idiot, he should have sent the police instantly, he could have asked all that later. This dispatcher was a total moron
I live 2 miles from ft mineral on the creek. My dad has suffered from being paralyzed with no explanation. He now has dementia at 59. In less than 1 half years after diagnosed he can barely use bathroom himself. He played as child in that creek and recalls it turning white while they were in it. To much stuff to too many people in the area. Should be a larger investigation into practices at the plant.
25 minutes earlier may have helped her more. And then another man videotaped the bronco coming up to her car, but didn’t call at all. She was likely there and alive at that point, too.
I am not positive, but I Believe I read somewhere she apparently was. As far as how true that is, I'm unsure. You would think there would be a way especially now, to make the quality of that video more clear.
How do you bore through a 17' width driveway? Do you do it from both ends and hope you meet in the middle? Also, why do you need two augers attached? Couldn't you use a drill shaft attached to the auger and pull the auger out frequently to remove the dirt like they do for vertical drilling.
I have had customers who were able to shoot from both directions and meet in the middle. It's impossible to say you'll be on target each and every time, but yes, it's been done. Re: drill shaft- once you reach a length longer than your jump hole, you won't have any room to pull the auger back fully to shed the dirt. Plus you're talking a lot more time, a lot more effort the longer the length of the bore, all things we are hoping to save you. :) Great questions.
@beckymash12 are you still working this project. I'm from duffield and I would like to talk to you about this and what else they are doing that's causing cancer in my home town
He sounds to chill to just have seen someone getting abducted. Usually there would be a change in your voice because your scared or worried. And why did he wait 25 minutes. Even if he thought she would come back, he still should’ve called the cops right away. Also it’s pretty crazy that at that exact moment, he happened to be looking through his telescope. I think he saw her all alone and saw a moment of opportunity.
It would depend on if the sand was well-compacted, it's moisture content, ect. I think you might have trouble with super-dry sand that had just been hauled in to a site. I do sell a lot of augers to sandy locations, so I think under most circumstances they must be working ok.
Still very sad. I was 13 when this happened. It rocked this quiet town and still haunts it. Do hope answers come sooner than later, but it has been 26 years. Here is to hopes what has been on news in recent days, gives the Teague family some answers.
Y’all, I can’t believe these comments on the RU-vid video! I’ve lived on property near water that had a public area on the other side and we always kept binoculars on the porch and near the big window looking out across to watch wildlife, and yes to see what was going on across the water. It’s not unusual at all for people that live near the water to have binoculars within reach in several areas of their homes. It’s not creepy at all, it’s actually very ordinary.
What about couplings on the pipe? Since they are larger than the pipe itself, would that not get stuck on the sidewalls of the hole and make it a lough tougher to push a pipe through? I saw a comment that a 10 foot section is 800 bucks. Well if i only need to use an auger once, it seems like a big waste of money. Couldnt i just get an auger big enough for 4" pvc (with couplings) and then just get shaft extensions much cheaper? The hole i want to bore would be at an upward angle so dirt would be falling out of the hole as its bored.
You can get 20 foot length schedule 40 PVC that "tapers" (made with a hub where you don't need couplings) making it easier to slide through. Yes, couplings increase the friction going through the completed bore, but the outside diameter of a coupling is 4.5'', so while you may get some resistance, a 4.75'' hole is still going to accommodate 4'' pipe with couplings. And I'm a fabricator, I can build the auger setup you're wanting, but I can't guarantee your dirt still won't lay in the hole behind the auger section. Thanks for your excellent questions!
It almost seems like you should have a thru bolt where you connect the two augers, if the set screw were to vibrate loose, you’d never get that first auger out. Pretty nice system though, how much for a ten foot x four and a half inch section?
Hi Tim, vibration should be minimal as your drill should be operated at the lowest speed possible, and stress is placed on the flats of the hex shaft inside the auger drive and not on the set screws themselves. Right now I have a ten footer in the 4.75'' diameter for just under $800 and that includes shipping. Steel prices are getting crazy in 2021, so that price is subject to change. Thanks for your interest!
Use Galvanized pipe or PVC pipe, dig hole on either side. Sledge hammer through or water jet-plumb a hose fitting to bust through then just push or hammer till through.
So I thought that he very well could have done this because what are the chances that he just so happens to look in his telescope and he sees this happen? The more I think about it, I think he knew she was out there and he was just watching her the entire time and happened to witness a crime. It was definitely the guy who took his life.. I mean you don't just decide to end it all for no reason.
Yea more ignorant and uneducated comments. ALL the people living there across the beach have binoculars ya know some educated people love to watch the wildlife …..I would know!! Christ you silly crime people think you’re some expert when you can’t even be bothered to research a TINY BIT…. Otherwise you’d know how inane & off your post is. 🙄🤮
