Senior at UC Berkeley majoring in CS. Interested in systems and low-level engineering. I also make films on the silent jungles, the transit of men, the sea.
I remember People's Park very well! At that time, I was a student at U.C. Davis, which is near Sacramento and about 80 miles from Berkeley. I collected money for the People's Park Bail Fund, and also was one of the organizers of the March on Sacramento to protect what the fascist Governor Ronald Reagan was doing in Berkeley. The March itself was peaceful, but we were under no illusions about how dangerous it was, as there was a garage full of heavily armed police officers hidden a couple of blocks away from the March. We still have no compassion in this country for people and their rights to housing.
Wow, I've watched the first few interviews and particularly enjoyed hearing about what the guy in the cap has to say. I intend on watching more later. Great work Isaac, seriously, you've collected so many views and opinions here! A truly meaningful piece of work
