My name is Stephen Salter. I took my first pottery class in 2016 and in 2018 I started selling pottery. My mission is to bring knowledge that I have learned over the years to you. All the good and bad. Learning from mistakes is key and im here to share mine and help you grow as a potter!
Hello, Stephen. Thank you for your works. I'm very artistic person, musician and painter. Watching your videos inspire me to try ownself in creation of ceramic works, is so awesome when art is tangible! Hope to find a teacher good as you in this craft. Thank you and have a nice day! :)
Lovely piece. And watching you make it is hypnotic. I'm an aspiring potter who does handbuilding. I bought a cheap wheel to see if I can get the hang of it, but have to work up the nerve to try.😅
There’s a brand called Vevor that has good quality wheels for around $70 up to $200 and they’re always having a great sale! There are reviews of them on RU-vid :)
In Japan, it's considered extremely rude to do this. They only do it as offerings for past loved ones on shrines or temples. That's why they have little stands to go on the side of you. Just a little knowledge to share.
Hello! I’m a sculptor in DFW who is still is looking for spaces that welcome my art. How did you find these spaces? I’ve yet to have a successful show as the spaces weren’t accommodating to potters. I also want to know how you were able to secure commissions. TYSM!
