These artists must have got such a laugh at all of these art critics putting so much meaning into their scribbles. "Can you believe they pay me millions for this crap?" -- said the artist

Interesting The Winnipeg Museum is dispersing Warhol Prints of Queen Elizabeth as they are thought to be oppressive. There by the Manitoba Museum will make way for Indigenous Art in place of The Warhol Collection. Hi Barry. Congratulations on such a memorable show. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to see the exhibition but the video is wonderful. History, humour, wisdom, beauty are embodied in your works. Sensory illuminations are the outcome when you meld beads and computer components. The text Leah Snyder wrote is superb and you both spoke eloquently about your thought and process. It was truly a gift to have this virtual tour guided by Tania Poggione. Many thanks, Barry, for the way you touch depths of cultural understanding.
Thank you so much Barry. Although I was born in Ottawa, I grew up on the West Coast in the 1960's where my mother worked with the local aboriginal artists Doug Cranmer and Godfrey Hunt. I returned to Ottawa to live on Sparks Street in 1970 - right across the street from an Indigenous Arts & Crafts store that was there at the time. The artists who worked there became a 'home away from home' for me and my two-year old daughter. This is a wonderful show. I am back on the West Coast again but was delighted to see many of your latest works on-line! Wish I could see them in person but thank you for letting your art be shown on-line. It is an interesting way to carry on old traditions and create strong new ones at the same time.
