@kevinmcintosh9990 Sure! The speed setting dial of 12 miles per hour, or 25 miles per hour. I just typically keep mine in the lower speed setting of 12 miles per hour. Saves battery life and the slower speed in safer in RV parks and such. On the city streets, I use the 25 mile per hour setting in traffic. Hope this helps explain. Thanks for watching and commenting! Joey
Awesome! I love mine! More videos coming soon. I got busy at work, and recently married! More videos coming soon, I promise. Let me know when you get it, we will go further a cruise!
Was the LSV for licensing an extra cost option with the Forester or is that a standard item? And looking at the comments, I assume you have the standard 110ah battery? Really only get 15 miles or so? That's pretty short.... We are looking into one of these is why I ask.
Thanks for commenting. It was extra for the street legal model. About $3000.00 more. This includes everything to make it street legal, lights, turn signals, seat belts, ect.. I have the 48V system with optional lithium upgrade. 130ah is supposed to get me to 40 miles. My math / experience is more in 25-30 mile range. I typically stay in the low speed selection. 12mph vs high speed 25mph. I’ve never take it on long trips honestly. Many short stops and go trips. I can recommend it for sure. We love it! It’s a head turner for sure! People love it. Great styling, and seems well built. Let’s me know if you get one! We take ours RV’ing. Have a great night! Joey
@dmnddst I know! I’ve been wanting to indeed. I got married and been busy…. lol It’s raining in California currently m, but I promise to make a follow up video very soon. I love both bikes, and it would be hard to choose a favorite.
@@JDAZE congrats on the marriage man💍🎉 and hey being busy can be a blessing, better than doing nothing lol💪🏼💯 i've been considering a PCX cuz i like the looks, really has a big-bike vibe to it (almost like a mini goldwing lol), but the ADV160 has better ground clearance and they say faster acceleration from a lighter final gear ratio. it is more expensive than a PCX tho🤷🏻♂️
I know, I wanted to buy one in Thailand if I moved there after I retired. Much less expensive there indeed. Thanks for commenting, I appreciate it so much!
I did! It was $4200.00 after a helmet. But, I felt like I got an incredible deal. I just wish I had more time to ride it. Weather is changing here in California currently. 😂 Thanks so much for watching and commenting. I appreciate it! Ride on!!
There is an upper area, not far above this, just above the camping area where the trails meet. Late in (a normal) summer, when the water in the falls has diminished, the large potholes carved out of the steep granite are exposed. The water has warmed a bit and there is still enough flow to keep the trout in them alive. These potholes are outstanding for swimming and diving.
@@JDAZE The optimum window is in the late summer/early fall. We have passed that time now; the angle of the sun is no longer appropriate. Thanks for bringing me along on your hike. 🙏
@@JDAZE The locals probably all hate me for posting this. I would only go midweek and avoid weekends. I won't tell you how to get to the other potholes in the Wawona area that are easier to get to but less spectacular and less sunbathing friendly. One of them has an underwater archway connecting two of them.
@archstanton_live 😂 Sounds cool! Be a great adventure exploring that entire area for sure! You’re right, I always try and go mid week in all my travels…
With all the garbage going on in this once great country, California being one of the worst, do you really like living there? Not trying to insult. Serious question.
No, I don’t. The state is beautiful, the political portion is not. But, I was raised here and built a family here. It’s hard to get out now. But, I agree with you. No insult taken at all.
The ones built in were installed by the Dealer. I added the one above from Amazon. It’s made for trucks to be installed under the tailgate. The 3M tape supplied works great on the golf cart top. Very easy to wire in as well. Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks for watching and commenting! I appreciate it!!
Sure, I didn’t address the price as it varies around the United States. I paid $13,000.00 here in California for the street legal version. Non-street legal does cost less. Thanks for commenting, let me know if need anything else.
@@mikesmith1702 I did, this cart was at my local dealer. I bought this one in case I needed warranty repairs or had issues. So far everything is working perfectly! No issues at all.
Sure, I didn’t address the price as it varies around the United States. I paid $13,000.00 here in California for the street legal version. Non-street legal does cost less. Charging time is a few hours starting at 20 percent to 90 percent. I typically charge it late night hours when possible, rates are cheaper after 900pm here in California. Thanks for the questions, I appreciate it! Let me know if you have any others…
Have you had any problems with the touch screen? My family and I have been looking into a forester 4 plus and we wanted to know if the screen has had any problems.
No, not at all. It’s been working fine so far. Golf carts are so fun, my little nephews and niece love it! I guess anything can break at anytime, but I’ve been lucky…. lol
No problems at all! I was very impressed with how it climbs. I held itself at 12mph the entire time on the low setting. It didn’t matter if I was going uphill or down honestly, it always maintained that 12mph. It was like it was on cruise control… The batteries and motors in these new carts are amazing.
That’s awesome! Great bike for sure. The gas mileage is unreal man! They are so fun to cruise around on too! Be safe, and enjoy that PCX! Thanks so much for watching and commenting! I appreciate it so much!
Awesome! We are kinda close to each other. I’m in Clovis. I’m averaging 85mpg right now, as I put a taller windshield on it. I need to do a follow up video this week!
Dude .. same at work .. they laugh at me … it’s crazy coz I’m the line lead.. so they are expecting me to drive my truck everyday .. I told them hellnah.. I hit them with my mpg of my bike .. they be like .. but how fast tho..?? Fast enough to go to work mf… 😂😂😂😂😂
@@lyndontolentino1978 Exactly! I park right up front, as they walk the entire parking lot too… 😂 I love the thing! Handles perfectly, saves me money, and it’s a blast to ride! I just ordered the 24 Silverado 2500 LTZ. So, I need something to save gas! 😂
Sure! Thanks for watching. Mud Flaps were made by Basenor ordered from Amazon: amzn.to/3rboXPm The Center Console Cover was also ordered from Amazon: amzn.to/3NVuuT7 Both of the links are in the description under the video as well, if they don’t work here. Thank you so much for watching and subscribing. I appreciate it so much!
Definitely hangs over in the tailgate currently with my 1500. I just ordered the 24 Silverado 2500. I’ll do another video when it arrives with the golf cart in the bed.
I bought a 2023 Forester 4 Plus and I too doubt the advertised 25 miles per charge. I've never had it below 30% charged so I can't say for certain but even then I was at about 9-10 miles on the charge. My sister purchased a Classic 4 Plus at the same time and she is seeing about the same mileage. I am surprised that the forester and the Classic have the same 110wh batteries when the Forester has much larger tires and additional weight from the lift kit.
I do charge mine to 100% when I get it to 20%. You’re correct, never trust the advertising. 😂 I’m sure they test all downhill. Thanks for commenting and subscribing! I appreciate it! Have a great weekend!
I have a 2023 evolution cart. My battery life seems to be short maybe 12to15miles. I would like to know on average what should I be getting before I take it back to my dealer
Roger, thanks for commenting. Mine gets to about 20 miles, then I’m at 20%. I know too it depends on ambient outside temperatures, hills, carrying a bunch of people or loads…. Ect. I also run mine at low speed 80 percent of the time. I’m sure they can check your battery against a new one, it’s still under warranty. I would do it, as you will always wish you did if you don’t. Have a great weekend!!
I agree. I made a error there! Those clip’s actually grab the tire, not the rim. But, you are correct. I have no idea what the rim looks like after the instal, under the new protectors. If we rake them off, I will report back. Thank you so much for watching and commenting. I appreciate it. Have a great weekend!
Great video! Could you please add the hyperlinks to all the products you covered. I just see the list but no hyperlink. How do you find the ride comfort on the 21” tires?
I dumped the 21" UTs for some 18s from TSportLine with 245/50 tires with MEATY sidewalls. I no longer live in fear of potholes or curbs. Plus the 18's are lighter and cut my 0 to 60 and 1/4 times. WINNER WINNER chicken dinner. I live in IL and our potholes have zip codes.
