I bought a smallrig clamp and fixed it onto my hearest rod. It is not the best mounting position, cause it is far away from windshield, and it is a bit shaky. Also tried to use some suction cups on side window, but they interfere with my head. But I believe you having few clamps and suction cup will be okay mounting camera inside a car. Btw, I saw a guy clamping GoPro to his caps sunshield part. In other words right before his forehead. Nice POV experience
Because I use lav mike near rear whhel. Therefore chain and transmission are close enough to be caught on audio. Also I am not sure, but I had ridden 8 bikes and all have distinctive transmission sounds that can be heard in helmet. So idk if there is a problem here, lol
I'm 5.7. For me it was comfortable enough. Not flat footing it for sure. For you - Idk, maybe knees will hurt after long ride. I'm currently preferring tall bikes like desertX or multistradas. It is better to have tall bike with smaller height than a small one being tall. You can check website thats called cycleergo or something like that, it can show approximate seat ergonomics for chosen height
hope ur ok. idk what the fuck is going on there but it doesn't look pretty. i have my opinions on all that shit but hopefully ur safe over there. worlds crazy rn. Edit: Just saw u were now located in Japan. Ur Ducati is beautiful btw@@projectwheels13
Try to hold it higher near redline for more time. Basically it depends on riding style. So if you ride with high rev pushing your engine more your exhaust system become more heated, and then on closing throttle/downshifts not burn fuel pops inside exhaust causing this sound. But please, be aware that I have lav mike attached to passenger footpeg, so in helmet sounds are less intence anyway.
Give it a test-drive before buying and make sure that brakes are properly working. Also be aware that it is common issue for new MT-03 to have front fork leaking from time to time. It's dangerous cause it's leaking onto breaks. But warranty covers it.
Sold it year ago. Maybe some day in the future I will record a video with some pros and cons. But in one sentence- once you ride MT-03, and instantly check out 390 Duke to compare, you do not want to come back to MT 03 :D
Awesome bike. V15 Cheap. Reliable. Easy to maintain. Unkillable. I still have it in my posession in Ukraine. When i fall during gymkhnana training i broke an ignition coil. Still drove 200 km on one while i was looking for a proper replacement of second one.
I believe it will be almost impossible. Official data claims that it will be around 4.5 l/100km on the road. I believe most efficient i had was 3.7 l/100km. With tank filled to cap you have around 300-350 km if you will drive calmly to very bottom of gas tank. In average style it is 200-230 km per tank calculated by bike.
@@Google_Does_Evil_Now Nah. I believe Yamaha uses ADVICS system and it is not so good in general. So I changed bike :D I have now 2013 KTM 690 Duke and it is 10 times better. (+ radial master cyllinder from R version)
omg bro thats just blessing sound to my ears how did u get that ? is it just youre gopro sound ? wow keep it up mate im a new biker and my first bike im gona buy is a yamaha MT-03 is it good ?
It is good. Fast, agile, stable. But: Brakes are awful. Comparing to Duke 390 - yamaha MT has no brakes at all :D And duke is more better in tight turns handling. And no, this sound is recorded with Zoom H5 + Lav mike near exhaust system
I bought a Zoom H5 and set up lav mike near exhaust. To get rid of wind you can use stock protection, expensive dead cat or DIY protection from Foam rubber
Almost the same, i tried to achieve the sound i hear with my ears from the outside as much as possible ignoring all other noises. In reality it is a bit more high pitch, cause this sound close to exhaust, and in reality there is sounds from the engine block also.
That was Mercedes G I was actually waving him and allowing him to pass. But yes, he did that not safe at all, could be more respectfull. I am just trying to keep myself calm as much as possible
Why does it sound like chatttering when you accelerate, my mt03 is brand new and i have this noise and i am scared if it is the chain or something like that
On this video sounds are ok. There may be some additions due to the mic placement (right passenger footpeg). Chain can be checked easily. free movement at the middle approx - 2-3 cm, if it is more - you need to make it tighter. If you hear wistle sounds - lube it (or each 500 km). If all of this conditions are fine and your regulation bolts are not screwed till the end - your chain and bike ok. Engine sounds are fine until you not see check engine, and check your vehicle at the dealer in given time slots. Good luck, ride safe
Secret is simple - do not go down :D But honestly - when i am practice gymkhana i enjoy more control with bicycle gloves. This is decision i make. More control, or be more safe. for others - i definetely recommend wearing atleast motocross gloves
