I play Guitar because I want to not because im good at it. I love Music gear and tone. I Write my own Music. You will see Unboxings..Demos.. origanal songs..and Guitar DIY Kit Builds..And Always remember "ITS ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC"
I had one I had to quit using about 10 years ago because of noise. Tried cleaning it up and didn’t help. But I did find something that did help. I removed the led from the volume and gain sliders and no noise at all. I have a 6 band and parametric in the front pushing and slightly shaping and the 10 band in the loop for tonal shaping and it’s awesome
Gorgeous guitar bro. That's my unicorn that I NEED to buy! HAHAHAHA loved the echo effect for the latches too! Hot 70 pickup by the way. That would be my absolute number one by far with that Sustaniac, it's wickedly good!
Been beating on one over a year, tuners haven’t given me issues. Pickups were really microphonic, not really an issue swapped em out though. Bridge barely gets it intonated. Some fret ends have paper gaps under them but seem tight, no buzz. Been really happy with it.
The cropped screen is too small, probably the only naked Les Paul I’ve ever seen 👀 be a man and stain that thing red with 100 coats of clear buffed out to perfection 🎉
Just received and tried mine yesterday, it works great! For Android users, the thing is you have to select the input type of USB configuration into audio source. That ensures you'll able to capture your guitar signal if you record video as well
I know what you mean. The only guitar kit I know that numbers I know of is Leo Jaymz. Remember that guitar kit I said that I probably wouldn't unbox? I un boxed it. The thing that was a real kicker was leo gives you 14' 7" of copper foil conducive anti electro wave adhesive tape ( Shielding tape) there pretty good kits I did the un-boxing video the other day on my Chanel. I almost typed Charvell good guitar. I'm getting off track what was I saying, O. Good job on your kit you know that you're going to catch a bunch of shit in the comments because you didn't paint it. You don't have to worry about people getting mad at you for not painting it. Let the limptards get mad. To stain it you got to sand all that sealer on the front that soaked all the way down into the pores of the wood that's probably not going to take stain very well. Your going to be sanding for hours ot right through the veneer finish probably because it's paper thin. Nice job Dave. Hit me up we can go to Red Lobster ! I'm buying!
Yeah guitar kits have come a long way..this is the 10th or 11th one I have done on the Channel.. A few years back, everything was soldering.. L o l really had to do your research to wire things up. But yeah, I have done a Leo Jaymz guitar kit on the channel..turned out Amazing. Actually, have a few more to do in the future. Great guitar kits.
I’m too lazy to read all the comments, but I hope I wasn’t the only dingus to call out the abalone thing. 🫣 I been waiting on this one brutha. I like the long form content too. Appreciate your efforts 🤘🏻
@@Dave6SS I’ve been wanting to get a kit. I’m thinking a Leo Jaymz headless. Need a small practice/travel rig. But the prices on those type of guitars are F’n ridiculous. It’s supposed to be something that can take a bit of rough Luv outside of the “home studio”. But at those prices, I wouldn’t want to take it from its own case. That’s why a sub $150 Leo kit, sounds like the solution. You got any intel on that kit? 👍🏻 or 👎🏻
Looks like a fairly easy kit. Probably should have things labeled a little better for the novice guitar builder. Most people that have been playing a while can figure out the details. DYI Rawk!
Sooo...? What you're saying is no beautiful see, though color? Let me get this right! No stains? No, nothing? Just to be clear! No finishes of any kind? Sooo...?? No color? Well.......OK then!!🤨 thanks Dave 🤘 😊
Turned out real nice and I like the natural finish! It also looks like it has maybe jumbo or mediun jumbo frets? And how much was the total weight? The mohogany is going to make it considerably heavier than the FLP350 (due to its poplar body). And does Fesley even sell that particular model completed? I havent yet seen a Fesley LP copy besides the FLP350. 🤔
You want to strip some of the chrome finish off the bridge mount for the ground wire, also, to guarantee good connection. The chrome can hinder conductivity.
Davarino! The Stanginator!! Hey Brother. Really cool vid. Love this. I want this kit, bad. I wanted it after I saw your first vid. I gotta pick me up one of these babies! I think it looks really, really good. For some weird reason, I esp love the way the back and sides of the guitar look. Kind of an aged, pitted sort of thing, or something. I don't know. But it looks killer. The top seems nice too. Sounds great. Love it !
Six String, I done a diy Fesley, tele type for my daughter. I couldn't believe how great it turned out. I painted it Red Metallic and I used everything they sent. This thing had the best sound. It had that Steele guitar sound and twangy. Everybody loves it. Talk about a great country guitar. The best thing was it even shreds. Only thing I don't like was the tuners. Going to put guyker locking tuners on it. Keep up the great bids. Rock it!
Good choice with guyker. I didn't a few reviews on my channel of them. And eddaray guitar tuner are pretty good about 10 bucks cheaper than guyker. There on my channel to of the 7V jem un-boxing I did. Good stuff.
Damn this was a long assed video lol! Ill bet it was fun to build,it sounded amazing! Ordering the jackson js22 in metallic blue tomorrow along w 2 sets of my diehard ghs boomers 9 42,I'll use that gauge for a bit because you don't know how long they sat in the warehouse at amazon then ill toss on a set of 10 46,can't wait! Since i started playing guitar i wanted a jackson
I have bought that guitar (the variant with yellow stripes) and I like the look. What I don't like is the very bad fret job. And the nut is filed too deep, so that I would have to replace or shim it. Because of the too short tremolo block changing strings is more complicated than necessary (without removing the backplate). If the frets would NOT be very low medium vintage frets, it would be a great base for modding it. Because of the far too small frets, I returned it. The pickups sound ok, and the split option is a plus (a plus which nowadays every 2 humbucker guitar should have).
I missed this one! Beautiful guitar! Good thing we don't live close! We'd drive the wife's insane! My wife just thinks I'm crazy! I say don't talk about my sickness that way! 😂 she's been living with crazy for 40 years! Now she's catching on! 😂😂😂 Thanks Dave 🤘
I had one of these for about 3 days last year, and it was not glossy at all. There was a lot of fret work that needed to be done, and I wasn't up for the task. Had a decent feel and sound though, so I kind of regret sending it back.
@matta1899 I have heard that there were a few issues with the flat finish ones..I was shocked when I got this one..it was gloss..wasn't expecting that..must be the update ones
