Mind you, what other community you know can come into a WHITE SPACE and tell them not to say a word and actually be listened to, without it becoming “just a word” this double standard stuff is getting olllllllld 🥱
Coming into someone else’s culture to tell them what in THEIR CULTURE you don’t like is asinine and churlish. They do it in any community the are in proximity to. They did it to black women with b!tc= they did it to the black lesbian community with d!ke and I did NOT forget. and they NEVER STOP, I remember white woman coming out saying how badly they wished to be discriminated against like it is fun to be marginalized. it’s obvious that they get pleasure out of asserting themselves in other peoples spaces especially after historically being a part of the reason we had to create spaces for underrepresented communities in the first place. To say ew I don’t like it to the context of a word in someone else’s culture is like me shouting at a Hispanic person for calling me negra. Yes it does sound like an outdated term BUT THERES CONTEXT in their respective culture behind the use of the word which me, the outsider, would have to educate myself instead of being upset about something that is bigger than me 🙄 but I guess it’s harder than it looks
I have loved Suger and Spice long before their Iconic classic appearance on Drag Race.Could one of you devine devas tell me which one is " Michelle" without giving me shade 😎🤔.or trama drama. And ,no I don't mind a gentle read.
