Why does the instructions tell me drill pilot holes and give me screws not required for assembly. good thing I didn’t but just perplexed about being told to drill holes for pre builds. Someone’s going to and ruin their desk.

Can we cut a concrete ceiling to fit these speakers. My only concern is the speakers back would be exposed in my neighbours condo floor.and wiring would run in his floor.
You never finished your tear down of the woofer I would have liked to see the coil to see the build quality and the pole piece of the magnet structure. Also how much glue they used on all the components to hold them together. You could have just shined a flashlight through the hole of the basket and would have shown the same thing you were showing without destroying that woofer. A true teardown involves cutting through the spider and exposing the coil to actually see build quality.

Hi. I have a set of these but i removed the resistors a couple of years ago. Just wondering if anyone knows the ohm value so i can get replacement ones
The guy pushes the TV up towards ceiling - TV moves down. The guy pushes TV the TV goes to flat up position. BUT HOW HARD DO I PUSH? FROM THE CENTER? MIDDLE? If doing new construction and things are wide open. Any value in building enclosures for them to sit inside of so far as better performance from the speakers in the end? If so, any dimension recommendations that anyone may have?
