Thank you so much for taking the time to share your build with the world. I am so excited to get started with a build based on an Orlandoo Hunter Scania 1/32 scale build.
Hi! You certainly can use the blastic bushings, I doubt it will be an issue unless you are building something really fast, lots of old RC toys used plastic bushings, maybe a bit of grease would help.
@@JasonSuterOssum Thanks for fast answer. I printed all part. It is really good with plastic bushings. And bit of grease. Thanks for nice project. Last one is where can I find your drive shaft?
Hey great build man! I am working on something similar for a project but instead it has two propellers in the water! I was going to use a Velox FC and ESC but my concern is the programming in beta flight…. I am concerned because I need to know how to program it so I can control each motor individually, and possible one motor with a flip switch on my controller! Does this seem possible? Any issues with the gyro interfering?
I'm not sure how you would do a motor on a switch via betaflight, but it might be possible. Is there a reason to control the motors individually? I would create a custom mix and put the gyro to work, I type some details about it in the original description of this project, but basically I just made a mix that only reacted on yaw: www.newbeelabs.com/labblog/2021/6/16/differential-thrust-setup
@@JasonSuterOssum I would want the boat to be able to turn left or right, and if I had individual control of the motors, I would be able to turn on one and keep the other off, and that way I could turn.
This is just what I was looking for to reuse some parts! Could you post the step file for the cad because I would like to make some edits to the design to fit my needs. Thanks!
I get my own today. I cant see internal resistance when charging. Only shows voltage screen of each cell in one screen and the other screen shoes temperatura an so. Missed the internal resistance screen. May i have to update firmware??
Lol, it's all good. If it is @rceveryday then we are collaborating on all kinds of sweet new stuff, if it is anyone else, that's cool too, this original design has been out for years and I released it freely for anyone to have fun with.
Haha, mastermind is a strong word but I appreciate it ;-) I have been thrilled to see the stuff that people created with this body, it has been years now and I keep seeing new interesting ideas with it. Josh from @rceveryday and I became friends through it, his passion for these scale ratrods is infectious so it is a pleasure to work with him and try realise his ideas, he's a real artist in scale rat.@@johnpettifuctardsightlessa2707
This was a long time ago, I am not certain about the white parts, I think they are PLA, but the silver/grey is definitely the incredible Rigid Ink ABS, which is sadly no longer available@@subhajithalder3358
hi are you gonna design another, like that tractor? i love that ❤ i changed your files to use dc motors instead of 360 servos and gonna use esp32 to drive it
I'm glad you enjoyed that one, it's one of my personal favorites too. I don't have any plans for a new one yet but I loved the aesthetic and want to so something else in that dieselpunk style for sure.
Bonjour, si vous pouvez je voudrais télécharger gratuitement Lego classic squelette c’est pour mon fils qui est handicapé. Merci beaucoup de me répondre. Cordialement.
Got my own a week ago, screen was dead on arrival but I can hear the machine running and buttons responding. Gave it time to run but nothing. Haven't had a reply from the store for a few days now since reporting the fault either and their refund period is 30 days. I'm hoping to get a reply in the next day or so or I'll have to escalate a claim against the store which I don't want to do. But ultimately, I brought this charger for the two GensAce 15000 15A 100c lipos I have coming.. eventually. Paid and on a waiting list it seems.
Thank you! Yes they do. It seemed odd to me at first too, but it works just fine and save some complexity/weight. The same method is used in the savage bee frame if I remember correctly.
In my case the right DVR channel is of very bad quality. Only the left channel provide a good signal. Could someone do a test by removing / swapping antennas and see if they observe a difference, to tell me if my unit is defective ? Thanks.
Hello! Nice project Trying to rethink it and make a boat with two underwater thrusters i set AIO and now it moves forward, backward nice but my boat is long and has understeer and i can't find settings to rotate motors so they thrust in opposite direction then i move yaw(left or right) to max and move throttle around zero only one motor rotate (both thrust right direction and rotate boat right but jumps from for example full forward right motor to full backward left) maybe you know some setting to do? to rotate motors simultaneously and thrust in opposite direction Thanks!
Hi Petro, did you have a look at my blog post about motor mixing? It should clear it up: www.newbeelabs.com/labblog/2021/6/16/differential-thrust-setup Remember also that you will need to have "3D mode" enabled on your ESC if you want reverse.
@@JasonSuterOssum Hi, yes i read your post and tune mixer like yours ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-X4jJ9P2AyHs.html&ab_channel=PetroKateshek make video to better explain my problem
Hi this video has got me seriously thinking about getting one of these, I looks like it flys like a 5", would you still say its a good little park flyer?
If you are flying analog then these quads are hard to beat, I'm a big fan of the roughly 80g 2s 3" setup. I've moved to DJI video which I love but honestly these little quads are the thing I miss and haven't found a digital replacement for. Opportunities to fly in a day go way up if you're flying a near-silent tiny safe drone (that is still an absolute blast to fly).
@@JasonSuterOssum Thanks for the quick reply, I still fly analogue (waiting for the HDZero goggles to come out) and having something this size makes for a small backpack and ninja sniping a few batteries in a spot. with this and the mobula7 1s i should be set for winter hopefully.
@@AlexWalpole absolutely! I love the compactness of a whoopµ setup. It's so much harder to look nonchalant when you stroll up to a spot with a handful of 5inchers 😁
It's a nice frame and nice little project! I personally like sightseeing, so always had the feel to add wings to one of my quads, like a mini qbit and give it range 👍
It would depend on the price, but I would totally be interested in buying a frame or two. I feel like this is the beginning to what drones/quads will look like in 5-10 years. Just like they have improved since 5 years ago.
