Medical support in the NHL is still a bloody joke. Player goes down and a non-medically trained person comes out with a towel. Really? An F’n towel is what you bring to assist an injured/medically impacted player. This is a joke.
So glad he was ok, also was heartwarming to see how clearly affected the crowd was as they went totally silent as well as both teams reactions. Events like this make you realize it's just a sport, even if you love the hell out of it.
Flyers goaltenders since their last cup have died in car crashes, choked in the playoffs, been accused of gang rape, went on chronic rage-induced rampages outside their crease, choked in the playoffs, been diagnosed with necrosis, choked in the playoffs, fainted in the middle of a game... Wow.
I remember when this happened. Don’t think I’ve ever watched either of these teams before but I couldn’t find a decent game on and this popped up about 6 minutes before he fainted. I was SHOCKED when the camera just looked over and guy was just OUT. Good outcome all around and the medics from both teams are BEAUTIES as always.
I think the reason why Michal Neuvirth fainted is because he's too fat that he has been eating too much junk food such as sweet and salty snacks, candy, fast food, etc. he's too fat. Which is probably why he was positioned as the goile because he's fat. all that junk food he has been eating stops his heart and he fainted.
