This song has been deeply, permanently imbedded in My Heart ever since it first came out simply because between the "Soul Deep" lyrics and the music, there is no finer musical composition. Hence, this is the finest tribute *to any song* that I have ever *seen and heard* in My Life. Thank you Timothy Jamar.

Very positive video. Well done. This song still holds a place in my heart cause it gave me hope that l would reach my dreams. I was a teenager when this song out by produced by the Commodores in 1977. I was 16 then. Good memories of growing up. 😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎵
Really Really listen to this song. Wouldnt it be so wonderful if the world got along with one another. Instead of imperfect people hurting imperfect people sinner hurting sinners. Love peace harmony and grace is what the Lord desires from us.

This is a great video for this Commodore's song. Wonderful job to the creator. This song really takes me back. When this song was out, we were all about to graduate, looking forward to life and thinking that we knew everything😂. The parties and the good times. My girlfriend and I slow danced to this song at our graduation party. We both loved this song and we still do. She became my wife and we're still married 44 years later.
I like their version of a House is not a home. I remember being at an Isley Brother’s concert with my aunt, her friend and my mom. My mother was so surprised that I knew all the words and enjoyed singing along! But it was my Daddy who took me to my first concert with Machel Montano who sang “too young to soca”! Never to young to listen and respond to music. I used music to calm my babies. Both my daughter and my granddaughter were dancing even before they could walk.
I’m 53 yrs old I’ve always been a fan of the commodores, well done guys and RIP to those that’s gone on to heaven!!( Thinking about my Uncle Elijah,Wolf I love you always I’ll see you again look for me in the light 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Love the song by the Commodores. We were back in high school when this was released. Lots of fun and slow dances to this groove and "rapping" to young ladies. 😂 Loved the accompanied music video. It almost seemed as if it was inspired by, "It's A Wonderful Life". Also curious, where was it filmed? Great job.
As a preacher ! I think its great to do constructive things with the tools we have n the mist of negative elements.Helping mankind to become better people, peace 😊😊
You made the official video!!!! This song reminds me of my parents (RIP) and this video summarizes my late teens early 20s… trapped in poverty and stagnation… thank God for my wife for being the only person ever who saw the thing in me I saw in my self. God Bless you. I make beats. Would love to know you. Peace
Im blessed to say this was part of my coming of age soundtrack. I remember R&B was also in a Golden Age with Rock, mid 70s, when this LP followed their hit, "Machine Gun". "Brickhouse" tore it up immediately, climbing the charts that spring. "Zoom" dropped later, just in time for summer: It was made for it ❤ Goodtimes for the teenager going to their first concerts! The Commodres brought you to a soulful space, with hints of country and gospel. How do you pull that off?? With their Tuskeegee, Alabama vocal-ease and harmonies! This music sustains...
