being a child playing this game over 30years✌🏿 ago was amazing🥇🏆🥊🎖....and playing up to date streets of rage..inn 2024...is unique..i cant forget these moments👍🏿
Even so many years later, this game still holds up. I've been gaming a very long time, but this game on the Genesis is one of my personal favorites. A true testament to the power of the Genesis hardware, and that the system was capable of great sound effects. And music as well, hopefully Sega doesn't screw up the new one they're working on.
Not really because if you ever played the arcade version, you will realize that the arcade graphics and sound is amazing. The arcade is always going to be 32 bit. The Genesis or Mega drive is always 16 bit with shrunken sprites and poor audio. Just the processing speed is of course fast.
Yes I remember the days of seeing the Neo-Geo console in stores in the 90's. The price of games being $200 each did not justify the price of the console being well over $500 at that time. I had a TG-16 with the CD player and a converter card. I thought I was spoiled. Anyone kid that owned a Neo-Geo had parents with bottomless wallets.
Ah, the Master System... the often overlooked, super cool 8-bit console of SEGA. It really had some very cool looking games. The fact that it managed to adapt an arcade game like Rastan so faithfully speaks volume about the capacity of the console.
Wait... One can beat Golden Axe in 15 minutes? ... Well, this is the best proof that I was terrible at this game when I was 12 years old... Because I would die at where this video is on the 5 minute mark I was already dead...
Cool fact, this character is based off the real life Judoka Ryoko Tani, who won 2 Gold Medals at the Olympic Games, and won the Judo World Championship 7 consecutive times.
