This is a special song for me. I remember my mom singing this song in passing reference to how my brothers, growing up, were becoming more brawny. Fun memories.
Bella voce. E non solo. Una voce che riesce ad essere un' intera orchestra. Non credo che gli serva un accompagnamento strumentale per esibirsi e dare il meglio di se. L'orchestra è un di più. Bravo , molto bravo.
Listened to this 1st time, wow! Listened to it a couple other times, the 5th or so time, i realized the lyrics. What a creepy unsettling string of lines
I have about a 70% hearing lost. Born that way. I know how to sign but rarely use it as so few people can understand it. However I have spent years singing in choirs and performing in community theater musicals. I am fortunate to have a baritone/bass voice because I have hear the bass lines in music. To me, that is the melody of the music. I use "live cption" on my smart phone for calls. My wife plays multiple instruments and I have (using a keyboard) helped her create performance level midi files for several stage musicals.
I got a hearing aid in one ear this year, and I can relate to what she said about the off-balance feeling. If I turn it up too high it is disorienting. My dad had severe hearing loss my whole life and so I grew up with sub titles and I really use them a lot and miss them if they're not on even if I don't need them. I love how my audiologist helped me get a program on my hearing aid specific for my hobby of birding. I also love how I get the bluetooth from my phone to my hearing aid and I can be listening to something and no one else knows unless I tell them.
I'm 14 and this is deep. 😂😂 Jk, This was beautiful, disturbing, and, just awesome all at the same time. I love it! The only nit pick I could possibly make is there wasn't screaming during the "Scream like I can" part.. but.. I'm splitting atoms.
I've heard this song from Geoff numerous of times. And even to this day, I'm still never prepared for 2:20 this note right here. Like Daaaayamn Geoff, your giving the girls heart attacks lol.
I've spent years just hearing about people doing the Monster Mash without any details... I'd like to point out that this video actually shows us how to do the Mash.
Geoff ❤❤❤❤ you not only are a bass singer but I would make a new classification called a sub-base that lowest note you hit is dead on. I just happen to have this come up on my RU-vid channel somehow but thank God this is one of my all-time favorite songs hearing a lot of the old singers Johnny Cash the Americans and a lot of others sing this but you put them to shame. I'm going to subscribe to your channel just because I want to hear more things like this congratulations The video was perfect
Apart the deep voice, i absolutely love the arrangement, style and the display of techniques that Geoff brings to play with intensity ! He was made for this period This one pulled me in to the uncharted depths of bass which i never knew could be sung, now i stand corrected 🎉
