Hi Pim i really wants to know about the masters degree in accounting and finance, can you please bring up a student and just tell the review and whatever all the info about how to apply and all the things we need to keep in mind when submitting the application. Can u please make A VIDEO about that!
Hi, just wondering what the room for the “show rooms”, are like or do you have any info on where these room are situated in Hulme hall? They have offered me a show room at Hulme hall, but worry it’s out the way somewhere 😊 thank you! Xx
@@chloeparkes8716 heyy, the rooms they would show you would probably be actual rooms located in hulme hall. This could potentially be one of the Oaklands block since it is one of the biggest blocks or houldsworth.
What course are you doing? Also, is it true that specific buses are free for UoM students? Im doing business and management with a modern language (Japanese) but i really don't know how hard it will be for me to cope with uni work, and also learning a new language too on top of doing business and management 💀 I just hope ill be fine
@@niranx_yt7084 hii I’m studying international business, finance and economics. The 147 is free to take into uni however it rarely comes. And a lot of people do business management with a language so I’m sure you’ll be fine! Might be a bit tricky to juggle your time to start with but you will get the hang of it eventually. Don’t worry too much :)
Thanks for a very good overview! I have a question: it was no info about the gym, in another video (filmed 2 years ago by Aidan) it was said that the gym and snooker room exist, but are used as storage. Has anything changed?
@@Elena-vv3kc hello luckily they renovated it last year and it was open for use last time I checked however you need a membership to enter. Once you arrive you can always ask reslife for information regarding the gym. However if that doesn’t work out they recently opened a gym group on Oxford road which is a 5 min walk from hulme hall
Hi, what do you recommend for transport in Manchester? :)) I'm not sure whether to get the 3 term bee network pass or not or what the best student travel pass is
@@JennyWooz_Destiny_Wooz hello last year I purchased a stage coach yearly pass as most of the busses in Manchester are operated by them. However I did hear that they are merging with the beenetwork. I would suggest to purchase a bus pass once you arrive so you can see which bus routes operate on campus. But if things are still the same as last year I definitely recommend getting a stagecoach yearly pass
Stagecoach merge with the bee network in January so they dont have a yearly pass and most of the buses that go past Fallowfield are stagecoach so I’d get the single term one and then get the bee network one after that
Hey hello. You're looking absolutely meticulous and University of Manchester is historical. Can i know further on this university. I don't know how to reach you socially
Really satisfying seeing the sky get darker as the video went on lol, thanks for the vid! How many societies do you think you can handle on top of your course? There's so many to choose from
That’s a great question. It all comes down to how much work you’re willing to put in and dedicate towards them. I’d say if you want to be very involved in the societies and do a good job you should focus on 2/3. Nevertheless there are some people that do over 8 societies and still manage their time well so it comes down to your other commitments and responsibilities.
@@Laura-yn7un yes both have societies and classes however they may differ in what clubs they offer. With regards to making friends both have great opportunities and ways to make friends!
hi! im considering victoria parks campus but plenty of people have told me that it is quite unsafe especially at night, would u recommend a girl staying alone living in this accommodation??
@@jhanakkumawat5985 hello, last year I collected my student ID from the student services centre. I’m not sure if it’ll be the same this year but they will send you an email with all the details closer to your move in date so don’t worry :)
lived there like 28 years ago and seems similar. Very convenient and very near to Rushome {?). Used to be able to hear cheering from Manchester City fans from their former Maine Road ground.
@@gabaregaba1730 spring weeks usually open in late August/September time and you can apply for them once you arrive at uni. I’d suggest prepare your cv and do your research before coming so that as soon as you arrive you can start applying
@@khushiirastogi they are very competitive to secure and not a lot of people get them because they don’t know about it. By the time they find out it’s too late. So when it comes late August/September keep an eye out for openings!
Hi pim, just a video suggestion/request. It would be really nice if you can bring a master’s student and then you both can discuss the various differences in them (apart from acads)
First. I finish my levels this next year, and I've already written my personal statement as I'm taking As levels. I take maths chemistry and physics, but i found that accounting and finance is a better option for me and manchester is an optimal place for me to study. Ive watched so many accomodation tours and other things to do with the university and but im starting to worry about if they would accept me since chemistry and physics is nothing to do with accounting snd finances. would they accept me if i met the AAA/AAB requirements. Can you explain the process of applying and how long it took for you to get an offer with ur alevels and course?thanks
@@jeminecraftjingle5643 hello, I didn’t study anything related to accounting and finance either but I still got accepted. My predicted grades were AAA and I think that is the typical offer they accepted. Sometimes they may required A level mathematics so you may need to ask them to confirm. I applied around 20th of January through UCAS and I think I heard back around 2 months later with an offer.
Thats kinda similar to accounting and finance right since theyre both BA. What a levels did you do and what grades did you achieve. Also i have a few questions about the course. How often did you need to do essays/presentations(group/solo)? Cause i suck at both and how different is it to write notes down during class cause atmosphere looks alot different? Thanks
