You will see all sorts of things on my channel, woodworking, building projects, tool talk, drone footage... pretty much whatever i'm working on! Follow me on IG @builtby_n8
I bought the 1000. It was trash. The cams require tremendous amount of effort if you have something that is truly heavy. It's rated at 400 lb and I tried to put a 270 lb bandsaw on it. Yes it worked but you had to seriously push hard with your foot instead of making it nice and easy. I upgraded to the 2500 and it has been infinitely better. $30 more but it's well worth it. Other than that I have no complaints
Your Dado Set has the limit lugs behind the carbide teeth, they prevent full engagement of the stack into the brake cartridge and allow several more revolutions of the blade, possibly doing more damage to your hand, best to use a conventional blade for both dado and 10".
If you add a normally on switch to the one side of the power cable, the lights will turn on and when you close the Door and the lights will push against the button that is normally on the lights will go off. I bought them on Amazon. I plan on doing my wire like how you have let the slack go down . I was looking for a retractable cord. But I’ll try your idea cus it just works
Nate - I ended up buying one of these aprons. Wondering how tight do you adjust the waist and what height is the y belt adjusted. Mine seems tight but maybe it need to break-in since the leather is so thick. Thanks- Mike
Would this be accurate using the 5 cut method? I'm thinking of buying a sawstop table and the sliding miter/crosscut for mass producing cutting boards. Do you think it would work well for this use case?
Why drill with an impact driver - a drill does the job much quieter (more quietly?)- hammering rotational hammering not really needed for joinery. (just a query - thanks for the demo.)
My old saw is showing it's age and the motor is getting tired. I also thought the bearings on the arbor so I decided to check out the saw stop. I talked to a friend who uses one as a tech ed teacher. He talked to me about the cartridge replacement whenever switching to a dado. I was concerned about that and so held off on buying a saw. I wanted to see how the cartridge was replaced. It's no big deal after seeing how to do it. I'll be looking soon and I'm figuring better safe than sorry. I've done wood working for over forty five years and always keep safety as my primary goal. So, it's back on the list
What about a 3/4 inch Dado? I have a Freud SD308 and the stack is too thick. The arbor nut only catches maybe 2 threads holding the stack on. My powermatic took the entire stack with no problem.
You did a really good job on the demo. Simple and to the point…. Just wondering about your dado measurement pic and where you went to get it. Thanks, Michael
I bought a 3/4 impact wrench with the one key and my tools was stolen and it pinged it over 10 miles away all it needed was a battery to plugged in and it starts pinging it went straight to there door step so idk what your talking about it works great and pings miles away
It’s Bluetooth, not gps. It didn’t ping off your device. Someone else with the one key app would had to have been in range of the tool for it to ping, that’s literally how this tech works. Either way it worked!! I’m glad to got your tools back!!
How does this do for "misplaced" tools. As a manager for a contracting company. Would this help for knowing where all the different ladders are. And where all the table saws and framing guns are. most of your complaints seemed centered on malicious problems but ok if its just idiot proof.
The Diablo dado stack shouldn't be used in a sawstop. The brake won't engage on a painted blade, because it blocks the blade from being a conducter. When it hits your finger, it will cut it right off. Just saying.
I just an hour ago finished assembling three of those PM 3550 Bora Mobile Bases... They are brand new... I bought them on Amazon, they were delivered yesterday. However, I discovered they don't swivel well at all, ... which is VERY, VERY disappointing. So now I need to shop for replacements for the casters that came with these brand new PM 3550 Bora Mobile Bases I just bought..
Make sure the bolts on top of the casters are not hitting them. Mine backed out a little over time and effected their turning. They should swivels really good actually as you can see in the vid
Please check the distance between the blade and the dado cartridge before cutting. It should be between 1/16 and 3/32". Use the yellow plastic spacer attached to the allen wrench that came with the saw as a spacing guide.
Thank you for giving a quick update after some months of usage. So many reviews are done at unboxing, but who knows how well something will last in actual use.
www.amazon.ca/Milwaukee-48-21-2010-Tick-Equipment-Tracker44/dp/B075DJQL15/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=tool+tracking&qid=1627417768&sr=8-5 10 for $64.95CAN is a great price. People who think it has a GPS and the ability to connect to a cell tower, not to mention requiring a monthly fee, are just dummies.
Finally!!! Someone who doesn’t love to hear themself talk and doesn’t ramble on for 15 to 20 minutes talking about everything, except what your there for. Thank you for making a good video and getting to point.
Could I use this to put under my foostball table so I can move it out of the way when we are done playing? Can I play with those coasters under table since they lock? I also have some powerblock adjustable weights with its own stand that I would add coasters to it?
"First thing I'm going to do is grab the supplies I need....." No, the first step in the process is to unplug the saw. Common sense, but common sense is not common. Other than that, a helpful video.
Soon as you said all you have to do to de activate it is remove the front it became a piece of junk and the fact you have to be within 100 ft says its crap
