@@cujoforlife02very true and JT sounded a lot more blended and together across Rose than they did up close. Both groups obv have some things to work out but for volume projection across the stadium and balance I would probably slide this one over to Lee by a small margin, but overall not too bad for the 2nd game of the season
Tyler legacy definitely had better tone and volume. Tyler high's trumpets need to practice more, tune up, learn to hit notes right, and sound good as an ensemble. I'll admit though, Tyler legacy's drill team wasn't as good as Tyler high.
@cujoforlife02 This isn't about the arrangement. Their sound overall was better. If the THS trumpets and some of the tenor brass used better practices, the note missing, and tuning wouldn't be an issue. Then they could play loud AND sound good, but the fact of the matter is that one trumpet, among others that I heard blaring notes almost a full half step out of tune wasn't in legacy's band. Tuba rocks all around tho ngl🔥
@cujoforlife02 I'm talking about THIS performance. You would know in competition you don't get to perform more than once. This one underperformed. Don't let your bias for your school stand in the way of what's obvious
Never said they have been the first to play everything lmao but ok? Also never said others can't play this one. I'm glad to see it. CH is better as they have had lots more practice on it.@@cujoforlife02
