Hi! I'm just a bit confused with those traffics/vivaros, seems that they have no pad wear indication? Obviously there's no electronic indication, is there some squeak plate?
@@rideoutprojectdiy9331 this is actually crazy. My mate has one, and he is pure user. I did track rod ends on his van, and checked pads... realised there's like a half left on pads, and he probably will only notice when it will go metal to metal.really strange to see modern vehicle without, at least, a squeak plate.
Hi you need to find a local saw mill , they will cut to the size required, the saw mill I go to everything comes in 2.5m lengths only very cheap but you need to dry the timber out for a couple of months cheers Paul
Hi I have never had this fault after doing mine , but I just asked my mate who works for Renault commercial, he said you could have put handbrake on before pumping foot brake after changing, he also said to try reversing and braking after changing it can help to to tighten handbrake up , other than that you will have to adjust handbrake cable, hope this helps cheers
@@rideoutprojectdiy9331 I possibly did try the handbrake before pumping the pedal. Can’t be sure though. Reversing and braking ? I’ll give it a go. I have tried to adjust the handbrake cable under the van . The vans going in for mot next week so I can get them to check. As you say I’ve never had an issue like this before. Many thanks for asking a mate of yours. Much appreciated 👍🏻🙏
HELLO TONY & PAUL/MARLEY...YOU COMPLETELY DISAPPEARED FROM MY YT HOMEPAGE FOR QUITE AWHILE...AND MY BELL NOTIFICATION WAS TURNED ON...THEY HAVE NOT BEEN SENDING ANY NOTIFICATIONS, TIL TONIGHT, 17TH AUGUST...LOOKS LIKE I HAVE A LITTLE CATCHING UP TO DO...THE SPLASH TANK LOOKS GREAT & I LOVE THE RENDERED STONE WALL...YOUR MATE DID A FABULOUS JOB OF THOSE EDGE TRIMS...NEVER SAW THAT DONE BEFORE & I'VE WATCHED ALOT OF THIS SORT OF THING...ALL THE BEST...🙏
Thank you and welcome back, we are out here at the moment hard at work nearly finished 4 bedrooms, due to start the living room and kitchen soon, thanks for watching 👌👍
Cheers butty, I can't remember if I bought it back home or in Portugal to be honest, but I've done a similar job back home in my old house, and I bought everything from Toolstation, thanks for watching 👌👍
You definitely got to varnish or oil the doors , the doors need to be sealed with the varnish etc to stop the moisture in the air being sucked up by the wood which then causes the door to swell and bow , make sure you seal top , bottom and sides of door, the skirting board doesn't matter so much but I would definitely put a wood worm protection on B4 fitting is the easiest. Hope this answers your questions thanks for watching and have fun doing it 👍
It's so the next layer of render sticks better, binds to it better and stops the next layer from going hollow, kind of like when you sand a surface before you spray paint, we call this giving the paint something to key to, hope this helps cheers 👌👍
I also saw this recently, I'm not sure ,I also saw a post stating that painting blue is fine , no planning needed, I'm out for 6 weeks shortly and planning on visiting council about planning permission for wooden balcony I'm planning on building, so I shall ask some questions I think, thanks for watching got some good videos coming up as we have now completed 2 bedrooms and the bathroom is finished 👌👍
@@rideoutprojectdiy9331 I’m finding the renovation process fascinating to watch - the only thing I would say is that I like to watch the renovation videos in order of progression and they are a little bit mixed up - would you perhaps be able to number the vlogs from now on so they are easier to watch in order
Just found your channel so starting watching from the beginning - this was oddly satisfying to watch - looking forward to catching up with your progress
@@rideoutprojectdiy9331 Thanks for the quick answer, does the smaller front undertray bolt to a cross member or just bolt to the larger rear undertray ? Across the centre i mean
fantastic job, you reminde me of me...two years ago we left Lisbon and start a renovation in Leiria now we are near Coimbra, ,please keep posting and share ideas, best of luck
Thank you very much, lots more videos on there way, we have now finished bathroom and 2 bedrooms, videos and shorts on the way, traveling back to Portugal tonight for a week worth of renovations , excited 😊
Make sure you clean any oil of that gets on any of the coolant hoses . If you don’t they will perish in about 2 months time . I have seen it happen twice . They just turn to mush. Don’t believe me then give it a go !
Why not just replace the damaged rubber? Easy to do, I have done it many times. Also, why not clean all crud out of spark plug recesses before removing old plugs? All the crap just falls into the combustion chambers if you dont, a quick suck with a workshop vacuum would have sufficed. Anyway, watching this video confirms that I am better doing these jobs myself. Job will be done properly, and no waste of money on parts not required.
