Love it - will take into the moguls very soon: lead change and pole plant bulls-eye back of mogul, skis follow at the base of the mogul into trough - seems simple enough - I'll see soon - Awesome!
Another lame effort. So many ridiculous statements, too many to describe. What an idiot. This gal is a lousy skier and even worse instructor. No way was this gal a USA ski team member on a first team. Nothing to see here. Sugar will slow you down????? OMG. Listen to this crap and your skiing will devolve. 😫
Just watched it again for self torture. Her opening skiing shot is intermediate at best and does not demonstrate good balance, proper pole plants and hand position. No way this gal is a Full Cert (Level III) or equivalent. Run away from this 'tip' asap.
Michael Friedberg has 'God' like ski technique. I've watched it in slow-mo lots, just for the shear joy of watching perfect ski technique. Thank you so much Brenda, you are a joy maker....😃😃
A mogul turn = pulling heels up to cross & then carve (boot back & knee tuck). Mike's gold medal technique is amazing to see. Thank you Brenda, wow lesson!
focus on the bones behind the toes....there is no power at the toes....better yet lift the toes off the frt of your boots bone behind the toe and the frt of the heel 24/7
Femur head and below (lower body) hip socket and above (upper body). It’s important to state this clearly. What you show is hip angulation not upper lower body separation. Thinking of the lower body as including the hips causes upper body over rotation and strain on the lower spine. It also reduces the skiers ability to utilize leg rotation separate from hip rotation.
I saw him race a Masters race in ‘93 at Telluride. It was handicapped and Stein Erickson and Tamara Mc Kinney were there too. Tamara won. It was fun watching the three legends run the gates.
To,do,all that just think about shoving your tips ahead of yourself and down into the ruts ahead of you. Then squeeze out a short carve in the rut with a slide to get out. Teachers say edge pressure rotate in that sequence just get the right spot to do that in. Force your self ahead of your natural falling. 😊Trust that this aggression will find a hard carve to start your turn when you’re tips drop in to the rut hard. Nothing natural about it until it becomes ingrain then the slope is yours.
Does anyone think Dean Cummings is experiencing a "mental health crisis" while giving this interview? That's how Outside Magazine suggested his mindset was at this point in time. Dean Cummings got smutted up as a conspiracy theorist whack job. And then he got acquitted.
Dean is a free man once again...Learn from this.... never set foot in NM again... go back to Alaska where men are still free. All those cops lied on the stand.... they surely will be out to get you.
I've been watching his trial. He actually takes the stand! Almost unheard of. He pulled it off amazingly well. I actually believed him. I'm leaning towards a not guilty verdict.
@@brendabuglione He was trying to buy a ranch in New Mexico 2-3 years ago and he wound up killing the seller. It's a self-defense case. You can see it on "Law & Crime" Channel. He testified yesterday. Apparently, he's been in jail?
Hi, great video! What type of ski would you recommend for spring/slush skiing? I went spring skiing this year and rented regular carve skies; the blizzard rc-ca (71mm), which did the job. Would a wider all-mountain or powder ski be even better? Thanks
