Hey guys! I'm Miranda, 22 years old from Arizona, USA. :) I love Stephen King books, YA fantasy, and the occasional classic. :) if I'm not reading, I'm probably studying, working, or drinking a coca-cola. DEFINITELY drinking a coca-cola. As Stephen king once said, "you still look bothered...a coke might cure that." And as C.S. Lewis once said, "we have nothing if not belief."
I just ordered the book. People on tiktok, amazon reviews and good reads were loving this book while most reviews here on youtube about fourth wing, hated the book. I am looking forward reading it! So excited! Thank you for the beautiful summary I hope they make this as a movie ❤
A coming of age story for Paul, conflicted between seeking revenge for his past life (kill Harkonnens, gain throne) and protecting the people of his new life and mission (make Dune a paradise). God, some people should just be left to read the Notebook or Fifty Shades.
It’s a “be careful what you wish for” story. He had to go back to reset his foolish mistake. He should never have meddled. He paid a huge price of years of his life.
KING OF SCARS absolutely and the rest of the GrishaVerse is really well done as well! You may have heard pf the Grishaverse from the viral shadow and bone trilogy.
@Miranda’sUniverse I’ve been a huge fan of his on screen adaptations particularly IT the new version which I prefer over the miniseries with Tim Curry which may be blasphemy to some but I don’t care. I have read a few of his books namely, The Shining, Pet Sematary and Salem’s Lot which I’m hoping the new adaptation that got kicked from the theatrical slate entirely and is going straight to Max is actually good, it should be since, Stephen King himself said that there were a few changes from the book he didn’t personally agree with but, on the whole, it was a faithful adaptation, which makes me super excited.
To everyone saying, "Wait till he finds out that worker ants are female", that is true. The worker ants are female and do everything, but he is right about male ants. Male ants do nothing but make more ants, and they don't do any of the work. 😅
A very important aspect of the book is the fact that there is no chosen one. The “chosen one” is a myth used by the Bene Gesserit to control the Fremen. You might want to check out the Villeneuve movies, I think it’ll help you get the larger plot arcs.
If Poe was right, Count Olaf was either their third cousin four times removed (third cousin to their great great grandparent) or their fourth cousin three times removed (fourth cousin to their great grandparent).
I agree with the opinions of this video. I am more of a suspense and horror reader than romance. I feel like people that like romance and that are Stephen’s age, really enjoy this book. I would say 3 stars as well.
