I discovered "Red White & Blue (grass)" from the 70's exploitation horror film "Poor Pretty Eddie" which has Mrs. Boatwright's song "Lovin's Over". Great album!
Just saw Willie and company Friday night in Selma, Alabama with The Selma Boys appearing at the Black Belt Benefits Development. What an incredible show. They complimented one one another so much that it fit together like nothing I have heard in a long, long time. They were awesome!❤🎼🎵🎶🎸🎤🎸🎤🎸🎤🎻🎤🎶🎵🎼♥️
Acrylic is probably a good choice for basements considering how many things can leak or flood down there. This collection is not "insane" but it is unfathomable for sure. Id need a bungie cord to keep my jaw attached to my face.
A 1963 Slingerland shell with 6 ply maple? They were 3 ply maple/poplar/maple up until the early 70's when they became 5 ply maple/poplar. I don't believe they ever made a 6 ply maple shell.
5/27/23: Oh gracious! How wonderful is this interview! I learned from Kathy C. that Ginger is back in TN. Our good fortune! Thanks for Ginger’s amazing talent and infectious laughter. She does have some stories! Like to see Ginger perform again…Station Inn or anywhere. Memphis bluegrass remembers Ginger, too! We love Ginger!
No comments? really? These are truly exceptional musicians. They don't have big names or are flashy but their talent is undeniably. They play for the love of music. Turn it up and listen to the bass player.
