You get the powers of the bosses after you defeat them. And there is an ideal order of which stages you're supposed to do as bosses have different weaknesses for specific powers.
@@thefloppiestdisk I just tried what you said! Unfortunately I didn't get anywhere, in order to remove the back to look at the guts of the unit I have to damage the side art to get to the screws so since it's not a major problem for me I'm just going to leave it. Thanks tho I appreciate your support!
You seem like you’d benefit from a large mousepad that looks like arcade carpet. As for layouts, I like long aisles of cabinets. Something about looking down a straight line with cabinets on either side is just mesmerizing to me. However, I think all of you suggestions are good. The final suggestion feels like the layout of the main menu of an arcade compilation to me, which is very fun.
That's a pretty good immitaton! I'm really surprised. I thought it would be kind of cringe. Even at Galloping Ghost, 0.5 mile from my house, it's still missing something. I'm not really sure what. Maybe the actual 80s...? And my youth? I don't know.
@@TheMiniCade-s1t Overall I've rarely seen color screens on these little handhelds at all outside of this thing, and a few from Excalibur which had this clamshell design that'd pop open and reflect the game image via a mirror. I have the Space Invaders one, it's pretty cool for the time!
@@TheMiniCade-s1t The best mini arcade cabinet that functions are those World's Smallest ones since those function pretty close to the og games instead of being cheep remakes. I have the Galaxian one.
I have this one, it was a gift, I don't enjoy it at all, I find the game difficult and frustrating, as you said you always get stuck in the ladders, and I don't enjoy the cabinet artwork, I didn't grow up with this arcade game or anything so I'd probably trade it for a different game, but if not it's fine to have filler in my collection I'm glad to see someone DOES enjoy this game
@@AidanDrotzur-uz5sz Oh yes getting stuck in the ladders is so annoying. I do like the game as it is, however I agree with you there is way better. It's too bad, if it was the arcade rom I'd rank it higher.
@@TheMiniCade-s1t good to know I love your videos, I wish I could say I finished this one but Tetris gameplay always frustrates me because everyone always makes a different move than I would
I collect these machines too!! It'd be cool to have a collection as big as yours some day but I'm just happy as long as I enjoy all the games, I just can't wait for someone to make tempest
@@AidanDrotzur-uz5sz I appreciate your support!! Definitely a fun hobby to have. Yes I've been wanting a tempest! It's actually available in the mini Atari Micro player by My Arcade!
@@AidanDrotzur-uz5sz Same here! I don't have that in my collection and I'll definitely do a review of it when I get it. It's something I've been wanting for a bit now!
Have you ever had a problem with the screen on one of the my arcade micro players because the colours kept going inverted on my heavy barrel one and i was just wondering if I’m just unlucky.
@@b.cgames7138 I have seen that before! It's a common issue with Heavy Barrel and Caveman Ninja where the screen would do that. Unfortunately I haven't heard of a solution.. My Defender and Burger time has lines on the screen so that's my screen issue. I would assume your unlucky but your not the only one that's it happened to before.
@@JaydenMower That's cool! I ordered it awile ago it finally came in. I never mentioned it in my other videos I was getting a new game. Kept it a secret!
Also there is no dialogue in the actual My Arcade version the NES version had the dialogue audio so I think my arcade did not use a try me function because they want to hide that it's not the actual arcade game!
