Banana Mod Manager is a joke smh did everything u told me to do in the steps but none of the mods I put in the mods folder is working The Ball Sound Effects not working, Timer Sound Effects not working and the No helper mode not working
So about that other sounds folder at 2:14 See the Dynamic Sounds download say "se_com replace" folder for me, which I'm assuming contains the same file shown in the video. Problem is, using that makes bananas and roll sound mute. Using the vanilla se_com file actually makes bananas have their original sound, but Dynamic roll sound is still mute. IDK what I'm doing wrong. Still tho this video was helpful to get the other sounds working, so thanks.
May I ask how do you write what actions make what sounds? Like I want Robo Baby to make that impact sound it makes it's Banana Blitz. While the other characters keep either their Vanilla or Classic Sound Effects.
I really wish they added og announcer as an optional change. Idc if its recycled. But the mod is great for the placement. Might have to get the pc version whenever i can
One time I had a dream (like a literal asleep dream) that there was a pen or something you could buy that had some sort of DLC code that gave you rolling sounds instead of footstep sounds.
Nice work! Though I prefer the new rolling sound, very unpopular opinion but I feel like the new one due to its quietness allows u to concentrate better on the level
Having trouble with banana mod manager. When I go to the settings and select which game i'm modding it comes up with a prompt to select some file without telling me what it's looking for. How do you set it up? Edit: figured it out, but now i am having another issue, the game is still playing the default rolling sounds on top of the dynamic ones that were added in the mod.
you have to replace the se_com file provided in either the gamecube or vanilla folders, it mutes the original ball rolling sounds until i figure out a better way to go about this
I added how to install instructions back to the mod page/zip folder, I must have accidentally deleted them at some point. Hopefully they'll clear things up, sorry about that!
we have a lil community getting started with mod related stuff: discord.gg/dbNTKSU2Rt feel free to see if anyone is interested in it or you could even start learning and make it yourself! we'd be happy to help
@@NeonDarius it's on my mind as a future project but it's such a tall order to match, think fixing the camera might be a good first start lol. changing the deadzone and turning camera controls off feels close enough for now at least
