Can’t seem to find any straight information about the difference between the RA70 and the RA50. Mechanicals and number of speakers seems the same, so maybe just a difference in power?
guitar isnot proper for a precise evaluaton. ORGAN is proper for a precise evaluaton. Leslie isnot a guitar efect, is a organ efect.....guitar efects are chorus, flange, vibrato, etc, but congratulations for your leslie, it has a strong lesli efect, i imagine a superb efect on a organ. Like
Try swing through method...distinguish your break point ..have your hold point half way between tge tower and break point .. start your moves with the gun at bottom of trap door height . Good luck
Hello to Down Under from The Great White North! With the clouds here, the sun was just a fuzzy blob but it did get dark, just like night. Strangely, the light came back quicker than it faded out, it seemed like.
Your hold points are all over the place and it appears you are trying to "rifle" some of the shots. Perhaps your gun mount and feet position are not that good either but that cannot be seen - Skeet is a discipline and needs to be shot as one. Watch some VERY good shots and take bits from them that suit "your style".
Great video ! Glad I found this one. Subbed ! Is there any chance you have a layout diagram of this ? I'm new to building and I have a 5f2a build started. I would love to incorporate the herzog into it !!!
Thanks! Unfortunately, I was winging it when I built it and never drew a schematic or layout. I basically used the 5F2A schematic and a couple of "Herzog" schematics I found and merged the two. There is very little difference between the 5F2A and a Champ of the same period. Lots of guys use the Champ as a basis for the Herzog build. Some stuff here that might help you: el34world.com/Forum/index.php?topic=16934.0
I've got my 5f2a finished . I haven't added herzog yet. I used crate v5 transformers, which didn't have 5 volt taps. I used a bridge rectifier. I also added the nfb pot and mv, which works great. I think instead of adding the herzog to this amp, I'll get some hammond iron and build another one with a tube rectifier( a shame, not too...) I had a look at the link you shared. Seems like a worthwhile project for sure. I was told somewhere that you need to crank your amp to get the desired sound, but I see that you have your tweed amp turned down.
You absolutly CANNOT change the speed of your gun which you do alot. You must match the speed of the target. Remember four basic rules, head on the gun, eye on the target ( hard focus ) correct lead and follow through. Oh also, shoot about 15,000 rounds and you shall get the hang of it. Good luck, JZ
On station 8, I hold 3 or 4 feet outside the window and level with the bottom of the window. I look straight in and shoot it as soon as I see it. By the time I can react it will be 30 feet or so out of the window.
I'm not pro but when I wait too close to window, then I have to rush to catch and take over clay ... so I started wating with gun at 1/3 distance from center to window not more. It is like half distance from window to center, divide by 3, take 1 part of it and wait for clay. Small movement and more kills ... When I wait in the middle of half way (window to center) then it is for me now too close for 2, 3, 4 5 and 6 stand ... but I'm not pro. Still waiting for new wood for my fair racing gun.
...holding your gun too close to the towers for your gun speed. Get your hold position higher and further out, it won't be such a rush to catch them and put the lead on...good luck!
