Based on your misleading assessment of the strap fitment, you must have a beef with one or both of these companies. There is obviously a screw which loosens the strap, enabling one to easily slide this onto the rifle. You didn't mention this screw, period. Odd...
(Not)Short response: those straps don't work on the plastic or aftermarket stocks (those non-factory stocks are slightly too big), and the straps end up with a noticeable gap between the halves, so much that the screws no longer have enough bite to stay on securely. I am definitely no expert, but the design usage of MULTIPLE screw sizes, all microscopic in size.... just ....bad. And the on/off switch, OMG just, no. And (smiling and nodding) you didn't mention I skipped over the aim-correction 'screws' (microscopic sized at best). but, yes, there are adjustments to loosen the straps, they just don't work on all stocks, even the wood ones (because of slight variations in size and shape). After I filmed the video, I put the item right back in the storage bin it came from, although....it might make an interesting CAT TOY....hmmmmm
Even not-shorter reply, Both Ruger and Lasermax are low budget item companies, you get what you pay for. 10/22's are ok, but, well, I have 9, and I only got 9 because I wanted to practice reshaping and refinishing beat-up wooden stocks, and smoothing out the horrible plastic-mold-seams on the synthetic stocks. Never liked the sharp top edges of the 10/22 stocks, they accentuate any dents and scratches, and likewise are not comfortable to hold.
Thanks for posting, I've recently been given this exact pistol in the same box. I can't find any thing on line on JRCM, could this be a Marushin replica ? Looks like the logo is slightly different, Nice pistol, mine has come with 6 immitation bullets.
I'm not even sure the logo actually spells JRCM, or as you suggested, it is a Marushin logo, maybe older version of the logo? or a logo for just the replica models like Japan Replica Collection/Collectible Models? I could be just making that up though.
I can only suggest persistent searching on comic, book, print material related, and other auction sites. Eventually someone makes the decision to part ways with pieces from their collection
Is that a plastic trigger. Iv have had quite a few of these and iv never seen one with a trigger like that. I no the first gen has a brass trigger and the new style have a black metal trigger. The new style doesn't have the magnet in the bolt to shoot bbs. That a well kept 1377 a few drops of oil from time to time will keep it going for a long time. 💯👍✌️🫡
Good question! Had to go look at it to check, and yes it is a plastic trigger. I also saw a small round injection-mold/sprue-indentation-circle on the left side of the trigger as well!
@alvmahn i have at least 3 different generations of the 1377 not including the new generation . I thought I had at least seen every type of options that were put on the 1377. I guess I haven't your the first one that I've seen with a plastic trigger I never even heard of anyone talk about a plastic trigger. The only thing plastic on the first gen models are the grips and pump arm. Very interesting it's awesome you still have the original package to💯👍✌️
Nice! I just acquired one of these in a trade. An NSP-3 serial # NrD-88079 and it looks almost factory new. I have absolutely no clue what it's worth, or what to do with it. Is there an aftermarket battery upgrade or update? I'd like to see her power up.
I can only suggest research into your suggestion for 'aftermarket battery upgrade or update' or some sort of conversion pack using modern batteries. I have not yet tackled that level of project.
I waited a few days before...travelling on that highway at the crash site, even after a heavy rainstorm, the marks on the road, and....STAINS...., they tell a forensic story even after the rain did its work.
There was further LE investigation, after another travel on that road, there are now different colored spray paint marks showing the direction of travel of the cars involved....multiple cars crossed the double yellow line into oncoming traffic.
It was more an evolution of the SA knife, Olivetti did some but was design by the same company that makes the KM2000, the knife it’s ok for what u pay for the point it’s good and the edge also it’s ok, mine has tacky edges on the plastic but i can live with it, regards.
I had that exact model back in the mid to late '80s. The cut out was where they put the solid brass dummy rounds that were sold separately. The rounds had a hole drilled out in the front and from what I remember the the barrel was blocked but had that pin extending into the chamber to fit into the front of the drilled out dummy round. Mine didn't have the orange plug. The barrel was open about 1/4 inch, then there was a black solid barrel. I learned to field strip a 1911 at 15 years old and still can do it blindfolded today. The 80s was the best...
AHA, that makes sense, with the 'pin' shape in the the chamber area. I also played mix and match between the blued and nickel plated versions, and the parts were not 100% interchangeable ( slides and triggers would bind up )
I hope I never have to perform sustained fire in the future. That said, the product description said the cord is made from Kevlar, and listed items it could be attached to that I think would possibly get very hot. So will it melt? emit fumes?
parts for project 'in between burners on the stove'.... its a tough project, because, the real item is un-obtanium in the US due to importation rules (rules schmools). But there are sort of close parts, so been acquiring them as I come across them, and hopefully, will get at least a 75% looks-like clone, to what I am going for.
Sketchtv's video is titled "When Traveling Near Or Traveling Far, Keep your Hands Inside The Car", I viewed it, and it brings the book cover 'The Hitchhiker' to life....
Lookin at getting one right now for the history in general, but can you still fire normal ammunition out of the barrel? Or do you have to remove the spigot before you fire live ammunition again?
I have a 1927 Shashka that has brass loops on the scabbard that contain a 91/30 Remington bayonet I was unaware that individual scabbards existed for the bayonets.
