Barika is a 6 piece psychedelic West African flavored band from Burlington, Vermont. The group is led by Craig Myers who, in addition to leading Barika on the N'Goni, is also a current member of Mike Gordon's band, and was one of the original founding members of Rubblebucket. Man I saw these guys at Harry Hill Green Love Renescience festival August 17th and they were fucking AWESOME. I hope theres a video of that peformance because it was the most beautiful shit with the belly dancers and I was just in awe by the goniee and the lighting it made me cry lol!
