I felt it did energize my skin, but with regular use, it overfirmed the top layer of my skin, and when I smiled, my face was full of wrinkles! ... now I use a $10 drugstore cream...
With a name like Usama Syed I can not find myself saying hallelujah rather I say MashAllah. Anyway as salamu Alaikum Dr. I started tretinoin at the lowest concentration and I use a pea size daily lol. I don’t have a lot of peeling yet but maybe it’s because I was adding shea butter on the corners of my face. I’m new to tretinoin but have been using retinol for years. I’m 32 lol. Anyway I wanted something to help with texture and this so far is what is recommended in Sha Allah
This video was INCREDIBLE. I have dealt with rosacea my whole life but it's become a LOT more prominent as an adult. After looking at this video, both me and my dermatologist got some things right, but other ones...definitely not. The embarrassment, heat, cold, etc. are ALL things I noticed but just thought it was untreatable and something I had to deal with. Def got some good takeaways and steps I can consult with my dermatologist to get my skin on TRACK.
For cleaning : Cetaphil micelar emulsion CREAM: Soolantra (only prescroption) Vitamin PP (also only prescroption) Daily sunblock I waved goodbye my 20 years of rosacea 🌷🌷🌷
🎉 i started using a moisturizing oil called boost by Paula's choice under my moisturizer after a calming toner. It's helped so much in repairing the skin barrier and reducing redness
Coming from a chronic eczema sufferer for 30 years, in and out of hospital for years, antibiotics, immunosuppressants, steroid ointments, you name it I’ve done it. Head to toe in thick open wound scab anyone that’s experienced this will understand the physical and psychological trauma this puts on you in so many aspects. Nothing even came close to being anywhere as effective as eating organic food, no sugar, plenty of water and one meal a day of calorie and Nutrient dense food with occasional periods of fasting 2-3 days, and regular exercise and resistance training and most importantly good quality sleep. If you suffer it as bad as I did to the point where you are literally desperate to try anything you will find that discipline and it gets easier and easier as your body and gut begin to heal, all the stress that comes with it fades away and all the benefits compound with each other. It’s a lot to take in but take one step at a time and don’t overload all these changes if they are habits you are not accustomed too or you might find yourself falling off the wagon. It’s also not a temporary remedy it’s a lifestyle change. You will begin to feel thankful that you have sensitives that you can see what works and what doesn’t quite quickly as opposed to someone who doesn’t have this issue who eats whatever they want and not feel the effects you do only to pay for it later in life. Be grateful your body is sensitive enough that it’s telling you what not to do and what to keep doing more of with noticeable effects compared to the average person. That’s the positive I took away from having such severe sensitivities. Overtime as your body heals you will find you may be able to enjoy foods and activities that you once weren’t able to in moderation and the discipline you build from working on these lifestyle changes will prevent you from going back down the rabbit hole when you do treat yourself to foods or beverages you once couldn’t consume, but you may feel so good that you won’t even want to go back to trying those foods you once enjoyed because you don’t crave sugar or those processed foods anymore knowing that’s probably what’s been hammering your immune system more than anything amongst steroid ointments and immunosuppressants. I’ve healed 95% of my skin issues, no excess body fat, fit, strong and full of energy and sleep right through the night this is 100% achievable with commitment and discipline. I’ve never met anyone half as bad as I’ve had it and anyone I know hasn’t meet anyone that has suffered as bad as I had it just to highlight the severity of my particular case. I wouldn’t wish it on my worse enemy and I’m sure anyone that’s been in my shoes understands how much this condition can ruin so many parts of your life. You all deserve that sense of normality so it’s worth the effort I promise you that.
Acne scarring has ruined my life I don’t date anymore I don’t leave the house I don’t do nothing all because of my acne scars to make it worse I have a job where I get covered in dirt, dust and sweat all day and it makes thing so much worse I really just am waiting until i die. Sometimes I feel like I’m an inmate sentenced to a life of isolation and depression in solitary confinement and I’m just so tired of not having decent skin I don’t seven need good skin I want okay skin
This is a very good thing to consider in skin care. We don't need overpriced skin care products because they don't actually work. Just basic skin care: cleansing, maybe exfoliation sometimes and these substances for exfoliation can be found in the kitchen cupboard, protection and moisturizing with either foundation cream or oil. Sometimes you can make a mask out of oils, herbs, honey... All this becomes cheap and saves time.😁
As an autistic dude who just discovered there is such a thing as "skincare" at 24 years of age, i'm flabbergasted people just go along with this, or maybe don't even realize it's all bogus. How can people be this bad at sensing bullshit?! 🤨
Hello Dr. I just subscribed in the hopes that you will do another rosacea video. I’m newly diagnosed and I found this helpful in some ways. Perhaps an updated version. I’m looking to heal my facial skin barrier and support that microbiome. I’m not adverse to prescriptions, but that would be my last resort. I also see some pretty expensive products out there, and I’m looking for affordable everyday products if they exist. My head tells me that paying excessive amounts for magic creams is not the way to go here. So, please do more on this topic, from what I can tell there are so many of us dealing with this condition.
