Hi like your review's sorry didn't recognise you at dubs at the castle,as was admiring your mono cycle , after seeing your reviews on sup pumps went for one on Amazon , but you haven't reviewed it, it's on offer at £43.00 , it's called winthai HT737 20 psi would be nice to see you do a river on it , but also bought the whale shark pro great pump
Hehe no worries bud. I'm a man of many talents, well jobs 😁. My personal advise is avoid any none brand ones. See you there next year. You going to weobly camp out in sept?
Just came back from Scotland and decided to get one, had a look, and it's £135 at the moment, I do love the idea of 20k water resistance, price is a bit pity as other brands do better deals at the moment... thanks for the review, tho!
Hi there, I believe they have sales and they are outstanding. But I can appreciate the price is a little high at the moment. Thanks for your checking out my channel.
Have bought this week, not tried it yet. But would you recommend the Lidl mistral over an entry level Hiks? Not sure which to get. Video helps but am also indecisive 😬
Great review and brilliant unboxing video you done. I literally picked the last one up from our local Lidl yesterday. It had gone down to £170 with the app. I’ve never used one before but my 13 year old son has at some local lake clubs and he really wanted one. Looking forward to giving it a try when we go away in Lyme Regis in a few weeks.
Hello, I don't know what this one will be like, but the Tomshoo-pump, the one that is blue from Aliexpress is terrible, the motor is of poor quality and the pumps too, don't buy it, I bought it, and in less than 1 week I have to change the turbine motor
I'm sending my whale shark pro back. Straight out of the box, didn't work at all. Does absolutely nothing. This appears to be more common than I realised after delving amongst 3 star and below reviews. Got it out during Amazon prime deal. Seems to be quality control issues. Will likely stick with foot/hand pump.
Surprised the Puffer Pro died bud, still have mine and going strong months later and it's been abused. Maybe a bad one and you got unlucky. As for the Lidl one, they are complete junk, so damn bad. Last years was designed all kinds of wrong and this years is even worse. I've had alot of success with the Outdoor Master Cachalot 2S, check out my review on it. It's my main pump now, quiet and quick.
Im a bit conflicted at the moment. See I love this case for the most obvious reason, the added protection. But I assume it would overheat slightly quicker because it is made of silicon. Now, there is a case called Graphene Case by Sunnylife which claims to keep the camera “8° cooler”. At least that’s what another RU-vid said they claimed. Downside is that the case is made of plastic. Both still allow access to all doors, buttons, and mounting point. I guess my actual question is, have you experienced more frequent or worse overheating issues than without the silicon case on? Thank you brother, great video !! 👍
Thanks bruv, interesting, I'll have a look into those plastic ones and see if I can grab one. As for over heating I tend to be doing 20-30mph when I'm fillming so even on a hot day and 8k it doesn't over heat. I haven't done a static in the sun test on it but that will be added to my huge to do list :) Thanks for getting in touch!
Hi there, thanks for your comments. Always brightens my day to know I've helped out! Keeps me motivated to keep making these videos as it's very time consuming but I'll get there in the end :)
Just to say Lidl have had a restock. The boards are £169 using the Lidl app. My local branch had 10 in stock. 9 by the time I left. This is my first board and your 2 videos helped me to work out how to inflate it and what goes where.
Great video , very informative ! I see it is deep tracking you really good as you move around. Did you do the tracking with the app in post processing, or it can do it also realtime with single lens ?
So I did, that was an error thanks for bringing that up, I may see if I can edit that bit out or pull the video and put out a new one. Was a busy week of reviews that week :) I think it was a presumption until I actually inflated it as it's written on the valve the correct pressure.
@@MsDeepblue2 No worries at all, a really bad error that one, I think at that point I was presuming it was 7.5 in each then didn't correct myself. Going to see what I can do about it now without having to pull the video. Again, thanks for pointing that out, appreciate it.
@msdeepblue2 I've now cut that little bit out, thanks again for that, greatly appreciated. Luckily I just cut that bit out and will update in a few hours. dreadysays@gmail.com if you have any other questions by the way, you'll get my full attention.
Do not order these shoes. The company will not ship them and they will not respond to your emails. They will take your money and never ship out the shoes and will not respond to your emails. So there is no way to get your money back. Pantufla shoes is a scam.
How long have you been waiting for a response now? I was sent them to review so I haven't ordered them myself. I know of other people who have ordered them and received them. Keep me updated though please.
I have very similiar experience. I needed tu pump my board to 18 psi. Till 16 it went quite ok, but then the pressure started to decrease due to leaking inside the pump. Second time I used it, it was not able to reach more than 10 psi. I also had the previous type, which worked just fine - but only for 1 season. Next summer it was only able to run in low preasure mode and could not switch to high preasure. Big dissapointment:-(
Good one Dready. Yep I bought one also. Not as good as my Starboard, but it does the job and I can buy three for the same money. Nicely reviewed - as ever….
you're using the paddle the wrong way around, the blade is meant to curve to the front not to the rear, believe it or not. By doing it the way you're doing it, you're pulling the board down into the water once the paddle is behind you
Can you recommend 5 inflatable paddleboards for beginners and on a budget. Maybe between AquaMarina, Fuson, Itiwit , Mistral and this board. Anything around £200 or less. Thank you
@@Dreadysays great,I want something to use to keep my phone on my person while I go for a swim in the sea.something that goes in the water as I swim but keeps the phone dry.
Tested mine and ut bkew uo the board in less than 10 mins to full pressure. Onky issue is gauge reads 5psi over but can deal with that by going 5psi over target pressure (20psi to hit 15psi). Connextor does get hot but so will any pump that draws 2 amps.
Thank you so much for the review. Went and bought one on the back of it and have just got back from a paddle. Bloody love it. You hit all the points I needed to know, keep up the great work!
With the cachalot pump, do you also hear a little crackling when you press the buttons and the display? It works well, I just hope it won't cause any problems, it's just that the assembly is a little worse. Thanks!
Really interesting review of latest lidl minstral board as I haven't had time to unpack ours yet. Looking forward to the on the water review but I appreciate you have to work on editing it as well.
Good day Dreadysays. I am looking for a fannypack for holding my stuff for swimming. I have a individual waterproof phone pack to protect my phone. So do you think this overboard bag is good for swimming?
Do you know how long it takes to charge? Im charging it for the first time and so far its only showing 2 bars charged after being on for nearly 6 hours
@@Dreadysays im not sure if mines is faulty, i tested it first and it took about 16/17 mins to pump my 10/8 board to 16psi. Iv never had a paddle board before or electric pump so not sure if thats good or not
Just bought a 10.5 all rounder from this brand. Total first timer. Was wondering though, it says 12 - 15 psi, on a hot day is it best to take it to 15 or stop short, Im just thinking in terms of adhesive heating? What's your opinion, if I may ask?
I haven't found a case to fit it yet, but with the cage and lens guard islta really well protected in a standard camera bag. Screen protector on it too or course.
