I try to do as much as possible in games I play such as sidequests, collectables and most trophies/achievements. My videos are on the long side, so if you are fine with that, welcome to the channel. I just play for fun and I am open for suggestions on games to play. I dont play sports games, so that's an automatic no for those. Yea, I think it's pretty good so far. Apparently, the game changes a bit depending on who you choose, I'll have to do a play through as Laeticia too (I'm sure I butchered her name lol). Hopefully, you are enjoying it too
@@SpDiablo I think you nailed the spelling! Indeed, there are some special scenes you can experience with each role! Plenty of mechanics to experiment with, as well. I am enjoying quite a bit about it!
I signed up for the closed beta for the PS5 and they gave me a code for it when they accepted me. They gave everyone a choice of which platform to play it on. There is actually an open beta going on this weekend if you want to try it yourself.
Yea, it's a pretty nice looking game. The story is pretty interesting too. Lol, I play a lot of RPG games, so I just pick up on puzzles easier. I still have get stuck on things, so I'm sure you play just fine

ΣX I see you started running into them archer one-hitter quitters like me! 18:29 That's very strange...I'm not sure if that's suppose to happen or if it just occurs because of a wonky difficulty curve. At first, I though it only happened in nightmare difficulty, but that's debunked now. Either way, it can be a pain for us warriors, as it doesn't make sense that a tank can take a full-on stomp from a giant or fireball from a dragon, but a random archer can launch a half-buh-hind arrow and take us down in a single shot. Ah, well. What can a fella do?
Lol, when I finally gave up to walk away Michel finally wanted to talk. The bugs in this game are really weird when they happen. Yea, I thought it was the giant who did it at first, but after seeing it again, it was definitely that archer even at full health and armor. It is weird that happened though since I was steamrolling everyone lol. I may start recording my voice on the livestreams, just so people can hear what im thinking, but still undecided. Im not much of a talker, but kinda for those moments I look lost or something so people will know what im doing.
Hah! That he did! I think there is a unofficial patch for skill costs, if ya are interested! Speaking of, I don't know how that one-shot thing eludes folks. I suppose most people play rogues or mages? I would love to get rid of that! Happens to my warrior way to often! ...Oh, if you wanted to give commentary a try, that would be cool! You gotcha a decent mic? You could always give it a whirl if so! I am cool with no commentary, too. Whatever you are most comfortable with, my friend!
I actually always play warrior first I RPGs and then try out the other classes first. I like to be as tanky as possible lol. Rogues and mage can be fun for extra playthroughs though. People may know about it, but just don't say anything since it rarely happens I guess. I won't be able to get the patch since I play on ps5, but I should be good though. Yea, I'll give it a try and see how it goes. I used to do commentary, but I would get distracted and not talk, so no commentary was just easier. I appreciate the support though.
@@SpDiablo Survivability is definitely a key factor for me when I play games, too! I like to be able to take a hit! Ya, I suppose ya are right. Only happened once this playthrough and ya have many hours put into it! ...And I totally forgot you were playing on PS5! Apologies, I keep assuming people are playing games on PC! ...I definitely understand about getting distracted while doin' commentary. The only time I did a playthrough on my Xidan Wraithstone channel I would keep putting the game down to do other things. Had to pause the recording (or forgot to) several times! No problem, buddy! C=
Excellent stuff, my dood! I don't know if you've made much more progress than this, but I recommend Combat Roll/Coming Through. Makes for excellent mobility or evasion/damage (even on a group of enemies)/knockdown recovery! Pairs very nicely with the Prismatic Greataxe, which I am fairly certain you can learn to craft later if you need a higher level one! Would be like "Emron used Rollout. Everybody gets wrecked!" ΣX
I thought about combat roll, but didn't get it. I'll probably grab it after another level next time I play. I'm pretty sure I do have the Prismatic Greataxe, if I'm not mistaken. I looked to change to it, but I felt like my stats dropped too much, but I'll give it a test run. I actually haven't played since this part, but I've just been streaming on Twitch and exporting over to RU-vid, so that explains the really long videos now lol. I'll definitely have to try that combo though, so thanks for the recommendation
@@SpDiablo I can understand that. It did have some drop from your current axe for sure. I can vouch for it, though. That bonus on hit is worth it! Especially when is rolls damage that an enemy is weak to! Ouch! Happy to offer some advise, Sp! No problem if it doesn't suit your load out, either. Thought I'd just mention something that worked well for me in the past. Especially if you can pair a high crit rate with it! That affects the elemental damage as well! ...But, I digress! Hope you continue having fun with the game! C=
Yea, I'll give it a try since I believe I still have the axe on me or it's in storage now. I seem to be pretty tanky at the moment, so trying out that strategy won't get me wrecked or anything. I'm always open to suggestions and don't mind trying things that I can see how they could be good. I'm definitely having fun even though I haven't played this since it released years ago. I never played the dlc, so I'm looking forward to that as well.

Lol, I thought the same thing. Thanks though, I'm trying to speed up my playthrough since I started slacking a bit and I'm trying to see what happens next. RU-vid is taking longer to process my videos now, so I may miss a day sometimes.

I think only shionne and alphen's boost strike they don't actually say the name. If I'm not mistaken, the others they both say the names of the moves. I'm personally fine with it. I just like the way they look
@@SpDiablo no I mean in Japanese Shionne says これで and Alphen says 終わろだ and completes her sentence. It's really catchy. I find myself saying everytime lol
Yea, I thought thats what you meant. I meant like with Alphen and Law for example, they both say the full name of the move. I'll have to listen to it in Japanese at some point myself.
Thank you for doing a play through of this! I was hoping you would, as you say you like to wander off. This is not a bad thing to me, as I think you'll offer the fullest experience. I tried watching other play throughs...but clicked off, as they seem to ignore a number of the skits and such, which can be very enjoyable in these kind of games. In any case, you'll have my full support should you decide to continue with this series!
I appreciate it and yea I plan to finish this game. I'm enjoying it and I've always liked the Tales of games. I'm planning to try and post this game everyday until I finish it
I'm super late, but I'm going to try and do the other endings or at least get the good ending in another playthrough. I'll also record it through my PS3 (since I think that's the newest system it's available on), so the quality will be better as well. I'll start the next playthrough soon.
