The Chorallaries of MIT are MIT's oldest mixed-voice, competitive a cappella group. Started in January of 1977, we're comprised of an eclectic group of students coming together from all walks of life to contribute to making great music. Because we arrange all of our own music, our set reflects our constantly evolving musical tastes, from pop to funk to soul to indie to R&B.
In addition to performing in the Boston area, we have also gained national recognition from participating in a cappella competitions, producing award-winning recordings, and traveling throughout the country.
How not crying after hearing those beautiful voice😭🔥🔥🔥❤️🔥 The harmony, dynamics . I mean the music is perfect. Your performance guys is fantastic and all the good things that you can imagine at this moment.
The lead singer needs to enunciate his words better and distinguish his voice from the choir, he kinda ruined it ngl. Imagine if the lead was a crystal clear voice that sat above the choir, and not lost in it
Not sure what you watched, I didn't lose anything. If anything the mix is to blame - the soloist did a fantastic job. Not to mention, in a cappella sometimes having a blend that, in a few specific parts, makes certain voices difficult to pick out individually can bolster an arrangement. A "wall of sound" can be very effective. However I never lost the lead voice at all in the backing parts so I guess this one is simply a you problem.
I kinda agree, i felt like he needed to be louder and more distinguished. Felt like i was trying to find his voice for some of it. Still amazing though and definitely didn't ruin it.
It's more of an arranger issue than a soloist issue, he's sitting in the middle of the harmony. I almost think it would be better if it wasn't a solo, and was instead two or three tenors singing the melody.
every banana man cover is so much fun, this one included, y'all are super talented. i can sleep well at night knowing even MIT students are tally hall fans too lol
