Came up on my recommendations. Love the content and the vibe it brings. A little too fast paced and the mic could be better but thank you for the great video.
That’s what professionals do. If you like a photo but it turns out bad because of something last second than you can’t do anything. If you have multiple photos you have more to work with and you could capture the moment a bit better. Also if you don’t need it you can just delete it. Know what you are talking about next time :)
@BrysonKoehling that's not true, only for event photography for sure or when capturing moving objects. But when shooting nature that's literally stationary, you should just use "single-shot" and focus on composition. At the end of the day it's not a big deal but it is pretty amateurish.
And this is what’s wrong with media now. Everyone thinks it’s about quantity, getting the most posts out there and having the most people see them instead of putting in the effort to make them truly what you want them to be. In the end they’re your creation, things you can look back on in years and remember that you really tried in making it the best possible. The most important thing in media of any kind is that it is taken seriously by the person that is putting it out there because that is what makes it good. You’re not going to “blow up” by making a ton of trash videos, but instead by making good authentic videos.
I completely agree and respect your comment. RU-vid, Instagram etc SHOULD be about quality. But, unfortunately it's about quantity. This video was more about what you have to do for social media to really get exposure. The algorithm now likes as much content out as possible. I do stand by both what point you have and my own. They are both correct. I think we can both agree that social media is all screwed up.
The 2023 photo recap! I'm extremely proud of how this year has went with photography, especially during time at college. I got the chance to go to Portugal and took some of my favorite photos of all time there, then for college I did about 5 projects for my photography class. I think on a personal level I've grown from just taking photos, to actually making them. Meaning I took time with the photos and made each one into something special. It's a different type of feeling when you finish a piece of work and they each have meaning to them, it's very fulfilling. As for Instagram, we reach 2k this year, which is incredible! A lot of hard work was put into this account and it definitely payed off. Thank you to all of you for helping with that! And a little advice to everyone out there, do what you love, even if you arent as successful in it, do it anyways. Hard work does pay off eventually, it just takes time for the world to catch up!
