So good to hear people say "ch" like 'loch' in Scotland. We need an extra letter in English that pronounces 'ch'! Like Greeks saying 'nixta'. Spanish and Russians speak it too. Would be good and emphasise our independence!
Was on same flight about 2012 on way to Australia....... Holy crap, that was a long journey, Emirates all the way there and back, Glasgow to Dubai, on to Singapore then finally on to Melbourne......... me, wife and twin girls who were 7 at the time. I was completely knackered when we got to Melbourne. Felt even longer on the way back, slightly different route though, Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur, then Dubai, then Glasgow. Not for the faint hearted these long hauls - - - - now we basically stick with a short hop to Heathrow then onwards to Las Vegas (been 5 times, it's awesome)
