We have seen Meguna fighting purely h2h but we have never seen Gojo do the same. Gojo always uses his technique one way or the other by: - Moving Sukuna around using blue - By infusing his fist using blue Not to mention the fact that Sukuna rarely used amplification so he couldn't even touch gojo most of the time. Also he is in megumi's body which we know for SURE has weaker stats than his real body on top of having 2 extra arms. You can't say that gojo is stronger h2h when all of those factors were in play during the fight☝🏾
Well the hand to hand match wasn’t fair due to infinity and the only way for sukuna to hit gojo aside from domain expansion was domain amplification which will stop Mahoraga's adaptation so sukuna was fighting handicapped
Bruh Gege himself stated the characters with the best hands are Gojo and Kenjaku, plus we see that a blackflash from Gojo actually momentarily KO’ed Sukuna meanwhile Maki was able to tank 2 black flashes from Sukuna.
don’t get me wrong I still believe that gojo is better at h2h but this is pretty unfair, considering that gojo isn’t just using physical strength and speed to overwhelm sukuna. He is using blue and infinity to make it a lot harder for sukuna to attack so the battle wasn’t a physical h2h, other sukuna would clearly win, even gojo said that Miguel would beat gojo in h2h if it was sprint. I still think that meguna was holding back because in the domain he wasn’t using domain amplification he was trying to adapt to infinity which means he can’t use 10s and DA at same time. But other than that I still think gojo is better at h2h with technique ofcourse. (Also I still think sukuna beats gojo with no 10s)

So we just gone to ignore the fact that sukuna needed to get hit for adapting so most of the time he was just standing there getting hit and doing nothing especially in the domain fight that we do see. U guys forget that Gojo was using Blue to amplify himself(speed and strength) THROUGHOUT THE FIGHT. Once Sukuna says "What's that speed just now?", Gojo started using Blue. They were equal during h2h combat before Sukuna made this statement. Sukuna has equal h2h as Gojo but once he enters his Heian Form, Sukuna > Gojo (h2h combat). Some of u say "He jumped Gojo with 2 extra ppl"(which is more arms than his HE Form), but I disagree. Gojo had just landed a Black Flash on Sukuna and so not only was Sukuna weakened, but Gojo had 120% of his base CT output (Idk abt his RCT or reversal technique). During the 3v1, Sukuna's mostly hiding in the shadows only popping up to land quick attacks to Gojo before running back in. So basically, Gojo's fighting 2.2v1 and not a 3v1. Agito's only purpose was to help Mahoraga further his adaptation as Mahoraga and a WEAKENED Sukuna isn't enough to stop Mahoraga from getting destroyed before his WCS adaptation. Sukuna also says he DESIRED a way to cut through infinity, to enhance his technique. He doesn't say he NEEDED a way to do so. Sukuna chose to hide in the shadows so as to help Mahoraga further adapt. If they had run the 3v1 on Gojo (especially when he was armless), he would've been COOKED. The part when it shows "Sukuna feels nervous" or smth like that, Sukuna has already lost Agito and Gojo's RCT and reversal technique are back at 120% output. At the fan meeting in Japan, when Gege got questioned about who's the best at h2h combat, he responded "Besides Toji and Maki, Gojo and Geto are tops" . Not Sukuna, not anyone else. Also, Toji and Maki being the absolute tops in h2h it's fair. They just got the wrong verse where they got outspeeded and haxed.

It’s extremely disingenuous, They act as if there are 3 sukunas fighting gojo at once, when in reality it’s 1 shikigami that can’t bypass infinity & could barely keep up, & the other shikigami that Sukuna had been taking a ton of damage to train to even be able to keep up with them, all AFTER gojo hit a black flash which replenishes & boosts ALL of his stats rapidly.
@@tender1636 Do you not know the benefit of having Maho out, if you did it would make that fight outside the domain extremely unfair, Gojo had to be extremely cautious of how he used his techniques cause if he spammed attacks(which he could and would do against heian Sukuna) he would lose extremely fast cause it would cause maho to adapt faster, all Sukuna had to do was buy time for Maho's adaptation to be completed and even then he barely just made it.

@@tender1636 I think you should go back and read the manga, if Sukuna had gone on the offensive he would have been absolutely destroyed, as any time he attacked with DA he was countered, he wasn't on the offensive because Gojo was much better at H2H. It's much easier to defend and throw counters than to attack and then switch to defending. Sukuna was using cleave and dismantle as his sure hit and Fuga was stated to be completely ineffective during the fight, neither was Gojo going to let him fire it while his domain was down. Again Sukuna used domain amplification when necessary, this wouldn't change even with Heian era Sukuna, he used amplification to defend and throw counter attacks, which like I stated earlier is easier and more effective on Gojo than trying to attack. But even then Sukuna was getting his ass beaten and could barely even defend properly. Gojo could have spammed red a lot more but didn't do it cause Maho would adapt faster, it was stated by the students that at that point he had limited himself to using only blue.

That you think is better than Sukuna at a hand to hand is one thing however you have to look at the context of this fight : -Sukuna wasn't in his true form. -Sukuna against Gojo couldn't use shrine while Gojo could use limitless to fight more efficiently in a hand to hand fight. Don't forget Sukuna in a hand to hand fight relies on shrine in the same way Gojo does with his CT. So the way I see things, it's not that Gojo was better than Sukuna at hand to hand, it's just that because of the context of this fight Gojo had the advantage in a hand to hand fight. So just looking at Who landed more blows or Who counters more attack isn't an objective view to see Who is better at a hand to hand fight. But hey I know you Gojo fans don't look at this fight objectively (this is the reason why you went nuts when Gojo died) and try to take a W where you can. But context matters in jjk A LOT.
There are a few things people aren't taking into consideration: - Sukuna wasn't using amplification during most of the fight (so he couldn't touch gojo most of the time) - Gojo always infused his punches with blue (so obviously his punches do more damage). Not to mention that he consistently used blue to move Sukuna around during the fight in order to land his blows. - True form Sukuna on top of having extra arms, has better physical stats. Example: he has been shown to be faster than his own slashes (see chap 256) Straight hand to hand with only reinforcement, gojo loses.

Thank you my goat 🫶🏻 I don’t think people realize with the so called defensive argument that when u throw a punch no matter what or a kick u leave yourself open meaning your more easily able to counter someone in those conditions and as well drag the fight out this is what we call counter punching , that’s why they say a good defense leads to a good offense I had it 5/7 punches landed thou I never bothered to count the blocked punches , but in total o had 7/17 punches for GoJo and 2/11 for Sakuna . At chapter 231 a lot of people think the kick missed but that’s not actually what happened Sakuna rolled with the punch meaning he mitigated a lot of the damage but he didn’t fully dodge it . If people go look at the fight any time Sakuna tried to counter GoJo aka being aggressive he got tagged and countered by GoJo but in the opposite way Sakuna never really landed on GoJo The only clean blow he lands is in 227 with the da that GoJo was shocked by after that he never lands a punch and from 224 -227 Sakuna specifically fights offensively but GoJo is shown to be superior. Also I hope people realize the blue GoJo uses actually is a part of h2h as long as GoJo uses it for close range in which every time he used it , it was at close ranges counts as a part of his hand to hand
I dont think scheduling is the reason. JJK is one the most popular manga/anime out right now, it would make more sense for SJ to milk more money from more chapters rather than killing off one of their cash cows. I believe its most likely a health thing as well as Gege getting tired of writing the story.
Facts that most readers decided to ignore: 1. Sukuna DE could go beyond 3m meanwhile Gojo only could go 3m max. 2. Because of this, Sukuna has a leeway to take hits for Mahoraga for the adaptation. Meanwhile Gojo has to and desperate to damage Sukuna as much as possible so Sukuna couldnt maintain his DE, otherwise, Gojo DE will collapse first and get hit by Sukuna DE. As Shoko said, Gojo could only tank MS because he is spamming RCT at max output, Gojo couldnt tank it for too long. 3. Sukuna spent most of the fight taking free hits from Gojo WITHOUT using DA or HWB so he basically tanking those attacks. Meanwhile Gojo kept punching, kicking and dragging Sukuna all over the place wondering why Sukuna is playing defensive all of sudden. 4. Gojo start questioning why Sukuna never attempt to destroy his DE from the inside. And decided not to worry about it and take this golden chance to win against Sukuna. 5. After losing DE battles against Sukuna and realized that he couldnt tank it the same way anymore due to RCT output starting to drop, Gojo start to use SD and Blossom to reduce the sure hit attacks. Meanwhile, Sukuna still playing defensive. 6. Before open the last DE, Sukuna decided to heal his injuries first as he has been playing defensive for Mahoraga adaptation. Gojo who is desperate to land UV open his DE first, and managed to land it on Sukuna. However, Sukuna broke free because Mahoraga successfully adapt to UV. 7. Gojo try to open another DE but failed because he has reached his limit while Sukuna still could. However, because of UV, Sukuna also couldnt open. 8. This is the most important thing, Sukuna about to open his DE with a closed barrier to trap Gojo inside and kill him. Keep in mind, all this time Gojo could stand against Sukuna due to their DE overlapped and Sukuna playing defensive. Now that Gojo had no DE, Sukuna no longer had a reason to play defensive anymore since he had all the advantages. If not for the brain injuries from the UV, Gojo wouldve died inside that closed barrier domain. Gojo comment something interesting about this, "I'm glad you fight this hard against me." Sukuna replied, "Not as hard as you.". Sukuna basically admits he fought hard, but Gojo was more desperate. 9. This is another thing that important, Maki said Sukuna and Gojo equally skilled at H2H combat. And she feels weird seeing Megumi(Sukuna) so good at it. And this is Sukuna with 2 arms folks. Basically, if Sukuna didnt plan to use Mahoraga and didnt bother to take free hits, the fight wouldve gone totally different. Gojo might even unable to hit UV at all considering he was lucky to barely hit him with it at all. Thats why Gojo in the afterlife saying stuff like "The techniques I polished, the skills I refined, I threw everything at him and its still not reaching him. Even if he didnt have 10S, I probably still lose. I'm glad I died not by illness or old age. I'm glad I died to someone stronger than me." So folks, coping is good and all. But it doesnt change the fact that, Sukuna league above Gojo. Sukuna also didnt hit any Black Flash in his fight with Gojo, so he basically not in zone or his peak. Sukuna also didnt use any incantation to boost his dropped output while Gojo did.
1.gojo found the solution to his domain and was about to annahilate him but sukuna used an information that he wouldn't have had if he was in hein Era. 2. Sukuna was also getting annahilated in his own domain where he was buffed and gojo was nerfed😂 3.Sukuna was playing defensive because he was getting annahilated the moment he was going offensive. Proof:- entire plan of gojo was to hold his domain for few minutes and actually destroy sukuna in h2h so that his domain falls which he did multiple times successfully even yuta did the same to sukuna and won the clash against the barrierless domain of sukuna but accidentally shattered his own domain too 5. Is balantly false because his plan was to first run out of the domain range but then he decided fight a buffed sukuna who was not defensive and was still getting his shit rocked. 6. No he decided to heal because gojo damaged him too much so it's not his choice but a need to heal first and then open domain because the more the injury the harder it is to hold the domain. Only reason sukuna survived the UV was because of mahoraga and megumi or he would have lost. 8.Sukuna literally said while fighting to yuji that he doesn't need to take as much risk as gojo because he just needs to not get hit by yuji to survive while mahoraga's adaptation began just after one hit from gojo and gojo was under constant pressure of adaptation. He said that in afterlife because he thought sukuna held back his techniques but we know that he didn't hold back shit. He was trying to use fuga the whole time and literally used a binding vow to catch gojo offguard. So folks it's good to cope but it's obvious gojo would solo hein Era verse😂
