I'm nearly 75 and consider the Moody Blues to be the best group of all time. I used to think the Beatles were the best followed by Electric Light Orchestra but Moody Blues got into my heart and soul ❤
I discovered these guys in the 80's with their later sound ('The other side of life') then went and discovered their older albums. They are quite unique. Hopefully the younger generations discover their sound. Legends!

73 here and the Moody Blues played a big part during my LSD period with their albums. Always felt like they were kindred spirits. Now listening to this makes me realise how very special a band they are , mixing energetic rock and ballads with beautiful orchestral work. A fantastic concert and a national treasure!
I’m 76 and The Moody Blues we’re apart of my young life. They’re incredibly gifted and the music they produced together has always mystical and magical to me. The orchestra takes their songs to an elevation of a Mountain Top experience👏👏👏 What a blessing this group has been over the decades. I saw them live twice, unforgettable 🫡👍👏💥
I've always loved the Moody Blues and consideer them one of the best groups of the late 60's and onward. Still listening to them now 56 years later and loving every moment. I'm 80 and good music has always been something in life that is as necessity as food, water, and air. Without music I wouldn't have survived this long. And this music is a life-saver for sure. The Moody Blues was the 1st concert I ever went to. It was amazing. Hearing this brings back memories that are precious. I've been a fan from the beginning. It doesn't get better than this!
Outstanding Group. Amazing fusion of Classical music and Rock. This music puts you on a much higher plane where greatness is expected. My life would be terribly missing without the Moody Blues. One of my all-time favorites.
At 57 still listening to the Moody Blues in 2024. This group put out music to clear your mind and simply lay back and sing along. R.I.P. Graeme Edge, Ray Thomas and Mike Pinder. Your music inspired generations and will sorely be missed.
I was so in love and my boyfriend introduced me to the Moody Blues in late 70s. I was hooked. We broke up, we were so young. We promised to get back together in one year. It's now been 50 years and I never found him again. This song reminds me of him. I play it often. I Know Your Out there Somewhere❤
The Legendary Moody Blues. Their music is exceptional and ages like fine wine and cheese. These guys write and perform beautiful music, and none of the members tattooed nor pierced their bodies. They dress tastefully like their music they have written. I own all of their albums and I've never grown tired of them.
Para mi es la mejor version de Tommy. Todo en la producción es arte. A diferencia del soundtrack de la película que le quito la magia y misterios. Para mi la revelación y mejor adaptación y vocales es en "Cousin Kevin" cantada por John Entwistle. Es perfecta. Sin embargo, Roger Daltrey estaba en su momento de exagerar cuando "cantaba" y llevo sus vocales al limite en "I am Free". Su mejor interpretacion es sin duda en "Welcome". Hace pocos años Pete Townshend comento que habían encontrado las partituras originales, que sin embargo, no usaron cuando Daltrey y The Who revisito Tommy en concierto hace 4 años. Las visuales son fabulosas.
Listening to the “Blues”from the 70’s till now I always thought they were one of the best Rock Bands ,they can cook But they also have an unexplainable ethereal other side that brings you along to another plain above the Planet.Some of it to me reminds me of Old England while also almost Mystical especially in the wee hours when I listen to them.
Eee..Que los Beatles es el mejor grupo que ha existido..como los ningunea así el narrador..si no podían contar la verdad que no dejaron entrar a tantísima gente..luego el sonido era horroroso..amplificadores mala calidad técnica..no podían saber aún lo míticos que llegaron a ser..The Beatles...ninguneaban el rock eso ya lo sabía..solo lo folclórico imperaba ..pero bueno al ser de 1966..viví tantos años el nodo de pequeño en el cine..me encanta recordarlo ver cada año ..
Many years ago, my kid brother and I did a trade. His copy of On the Threshold of a Dream by the Moody Blues for my copy of Hot Buttered Soul by Isaac Hayes. It was his idea. I don't know if he ever played that album but I know that I played the grooves off my Moody Blues album. We became big Moody Blues fans and laugh about that trade now. Decades later we are still fans. Ray and Graham, and now Mike are gone but their music remains. They always were and always will be a class act.
I'll be 62 in July. I can remember hearing Nights in White Satin on my mother's AM radio in the car. I was 5. I was fascinated. Later i heard Question and Ride My Seasaw. Those songs inspired my own musical journey. I listened to the stuff they put out in the 80s. All the times i listened, they were the only band that brought out the emotion in me. To this day, they still do. 50 years after i started playing and recording professionally, i still look to the Moody Blues for inspiration.
I'm 55 years old and I absolutely love The Moody Blues album In Search Of The Lost Chord. I also love their live album Caught Live + 5 it's all great stuff and I'm glad they made it.
Just found this and what can I say..? simply the most exhilarating concert I've found on the net. The Moodies will go to the grave with me as the most wonderful musical experience of my life. Having listened to this. I am complete. Thank you.

Discovered them in college “ In search of the lost chord” , my roommate played that a bunch and I’ve been hooked ever since. Saw them on a round revolving stage at the valley forge music fair in the 90’s. Such an intimate setting for an amazing band.
The absolutely love the Moody Blues. My husband and I listened to them all the time and since he passed away, this music warms my heart. Thank you for your beautiful music and for keeping Steve’s memories alive.
